Mary Gay Scanlon

Mary Gay Scanlon is an American attorney and politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she has represented Pennsylvania's 5th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives since 2019. The district is based in Delaware County, a mostly suburban county west of Philadelphia, and also includes a southwestern portion of Philadelphia itself as well as slivers of Chester and Montgomery counties. Scanlon spent the final two months of 2018 as the member for Pennsylvania's 7th congressional district. She was elected to both positions on November 6, 2018. Americans do not want the United States to “run” Venezuela - and neither do Venezuelans. Americans don’t want to pay for this power grab or another forever war. They want a government that works for them, not to enrich the oil industry.  The American people deserve better.
However, President Trump’s decision to carry out extensive military strikes in Venezuela and remove Maduro from power without congressional approval or a clear plan for the future does not make the world more secure or Americans better off.
ACA tax credits expire tonight, and families across Pennsylvania will lose their healthcare coverage. Republicans in Congress and the White House refused to extend these tax credits, and millions of Americans will suffer as a result. www.post-gazette.com/news/health/...
The deadline to release the Epstein files is tomorrow. Neither the White House nor the DOJ has released anything to the American public, and Speaker Johnson just decided to send Congress home early (again). What exactly are they trying to hide?
