30 years of showing what “love thy neighbor” looks like.
Community Church of Hope was founded in 1996 to build a church rooted in inclusion and love for all, especially our LGBTQ+ community.
People here are angry, and they have every right to be.
Families didn’t ask for a 1,500 person detention center to be dropped here without warning. They deserve better.
Shoutout to the 31 middle school musicians from the Kyrene School District who performed in the AZ Music Educators Association's All-State Band Concert today. Your hard work paid off!
I hope you enjoyed every minute on that stage today — you’ve earned it.
They're back at it again with The Big Lie.
The courts upheld Maricopa County’s 2020 results. Multiple audits confirmed them. Now, Trump is using the Justice Department to revive that lie and build a case for “nationalizing” the midterms.
The FCC is threatening government censorship here.
A free press isn’t a privilege; it’s a constitutional right. We’ve already seen Brendan Carr try to intimidate late-night hosts and commentators. But trying to hide the realities of war from the American people is far more sinister and dangerous.
ICE secretly bought up this mega warehouse to turn it into a massive detention facility for 1,500 people.
I'm fighting for answers and transparency.
He was beloved by his colleagues for his grace, humbleness, and good humor.
I still miss seeing him on the House Floor.
Today marks one year since the passing of Chairman Raúl Grijalva.
He is forever one of the very best public servants in Arizona history. He was a fierce warrior for the people, the land, and the environment in Arizona.

This decision is a win for the 300,000+ VA employees represented by AFGE, a win for every veteran who gets their care from the VA, and a reminder that collective bargaining agreements are contracts that cannot be torn up — not even by Trump.
The backbone of the VA is the nurses, doctors, and support staff who show up every day to get veterans the care they deserve.

I’m praying for the families of the six airmen killed in yesterday's KC-135 plane crash in Iraq.
Refueling in flight is one of the most dangerous jobs in the military — Phoenix's very own Copperheads from the 161st Air Refueling Division train for these same missions.

Old Dominion should be a place to learn — not a place of fear. My heart is with the campus after yesterday’s horrific act of terror, and I’m praying for the family of Lt. Col. Brandon Shah.
Thank you to the students & first responders who put themselves in harm's way & acted quickly to save lives.
This comes after a year of cuts to Pentagon offices and positions designed to prevent civilian casualties.
We need to know what happened here and what safeguards are in place to protect innocent lives. And if the U.S. is responsible, we need to see full accountability, now.
I joined 121 @housedemocrats.bsky.social demanding Secretary Hegseth publicly release the results of the investigation into the strike that killed over 175 Iranian civilians — mostly elementary school girls.

Maricopa County Veterans StandDown is the biggest resource fair in the country for veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
It was great seeing hundreds of veterans and their families getting much needed support.
Jewish families must have safety in their homes, their schools, and their places of worship. Antisemitic hate must be called out before it escalates.
I’m sickened by the antisemitic attack at Temple Israel in Michigan.
We are indebted to the security guards who acted quickly to subdue the shooter and protect over 100 children and staff in the preschool.
