We need more Republicans in Congress to help reign in this president and re-establish the proper role of the U.S. Congress.
This is not about partisanship; it’s about standing up for the Constitution, because the Constitution is worth fighting for.
We cannot let U.S. foreign policy serve as a green light for authoritarians around the world who seek to dominate their own neighbors by force, especially countries like Russia and China.
The President’s actions are not only illegal, but they also reflect decades of bad policy foreign policy decisions where regime change has quickly led to chaos or worse conditions.
Maduro’s illegitimate presidency shattered Venezuela and ran its economy into the ground.
But the U.S. Constitution and federal law make clear: presidents must have authorization from Congress for war or acts of war.
Awful diagnosis. Wishing Senator Kyl and his family strength in the days ahead.
Arizona is a stronger, better state because of his wisdom, passion, and decades of honorable public service. His example continues to inspire Arizonans from all walks of life.
The Trump admin couldn’t dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, so they tried to defund it instead.
Judge Jackson said not so fast.
Families shouldn't be left behind when big businesses try to rip them off. The CFPB isn't going anywhere.
Even in grief, her words will stay with people for years to come, helping them feel less alone. The Kennedy family has endured so much heartache. My thoughts are with them all.
Tatiana Schlossberg’s death is a heartbreaking loss. Her honesty about fighting cancer while trying to be a mom meant so much to so many patients, survivors, and families.
You can find the full letter here:
I joined a bipartisan group of 75 Members of Congress calling on the Trump admin to stop their plans to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research next year.
Studying the weather and our climate saves lives and helps the economy, especially our farm communities.
The Trump administration says it plans to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the nation’s premier atmospheric science center. It was founded in 1960 and has facilitated generations of breakthroughs in climate and weather science https://to.pbs.org/4qygWgV
As co-chair of the Congressional Taiwan Caucus, I’m leading the fight in Congress to strengthen Taiwan’s self-defense & ensure a bipartisan, unified response to Beijing’s provocations.
The U.S. must continue to make clear that aggression against Taiwan will be met with a swift and serious response.
Our position is clear: the Taiwanese people will decide their own future through democratic means, not Beijing, and not through coercion.
That’s why the expanding scale of these disruptive and dangerous escalations is so concerning. They look less like routine readiness and more like rehearsals.
If China believes escalating military exercises will deter U.S. support for Taiwan, it’s misreading both our resolve and the growing strength of the U.S.-Taiwan economic and security partnership.
Extreme heat can buckle roads, stress bridges, and drive up repair costs.
My bipartisan HEAT Act with Rep. Lawler will help states access emergency response funds and requests clearer guidelines from the Department of Transportation for building and maintaining heat-resilient infrastructure.
A modernized deal requires
1️⃣ Building more resilient supply chains,
2️⃣ Implementing smarter enforcement mechanisms, and
3️⃣ Closing shipment loopholes that allow companies to skirt the rules.
The successful USMCA trade agreement is up for review next year. Getting it right is critical for Arizona’s trade economy and the jobs it creates.
I mourn the passing of Jeffrey R. Holland, President of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
President Holland dedicated his life to service & teaching. May his legacy continue to inspire the Latter-day Saints across AZ who found strength in his words.
Unfortunately, DOGE neither cut red tape nor improve efficiency. It did, however, gut critical services in the process.

Happy Kwanzaa. This is a week to celebrate unity, investing in our communities, and working arm in arm to build a strong future together.
