1. My bill the U.S. Research Protection Act will secure our research agencies and academic institutions and ensure researchers can effectively safeguard against adversarial threats looking to co-opt our data and efforts.

Worst of all, it’s yet another Trump-sponsored win for China, weakening our global competitiveness. This reckless and misguided decision will cause irreparable damage to America’s education system, jeopardize an entire generation, and hinder our future workforce’s education and ability to compete.
His continued commitment to economic development, workforce training, expanded transit and housing affordability makes Oakland County the place to be! Thrilled to see what has been accomplished and what is to come!

That’s why I introduced the No Penalties for Victims of Fraud Act, because no crime victim should face fees on top of losing their savings.
2.6 million Michiganders rely on Medicaid for their healthcare. That’s 26% of our state’s population. Letting Elon Musk gut Medicaid would bankrupt families of kids with disabilities and rip prenatal care away from expectant moms! I’m not going to stand by and let that happen!
Sending much love and support for all those who knew and loved the legendary Nita Lowey. She was indelibly kind and accessible and her service for the country and the people of New York will never be forgotten. Godspeed Madam Chair, you are loved and admired.
