Today we honor the anniversary of the 15th Amendment—which declared that the vote could not be denied or abridged on the basis of race, color, or servitude. The work continues to ensure that every person has access to the ballot box and that our country fulfills its promise of democracy.
The American people deserve the truth. The survivors deserve justice. And, no amount of gaslighting and lies in the Epstein case will stop us from getting to both. The dam is breaking, and we won’t stop until every file is released and everyone is held to account.
This is the Deputy Attorney General of the United States saying “it is not a crime to party with Epstein” in response to a question about prosecuting men who “had relations” with minors. Sir, yes it is a crime. And, prosecuting these crimes is your job.
As we mark World Wetlands Day, I’m thinking about how critical wetlands are to our communities here in New Mexico. These ecosystems protect our water, support wildlife, and help us adapt to a changing climate. We must continue working to protect them for generations to come!
Happy Monday, everyone! It’s a crazy week ahead. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening—from the government shutdown, to reining in DHS, the Epstein files, and good news out of TX with the release of Liam Ramos and some big Special Election wins—a LOT is going on. ⬇️
As we head back to DC today, New Mexico is hearing a critical bill in the NM State Senate today to protect immigrant rights. Here’s what HB9 is all about. Many thanks to the NM Immigrant Law Center for all of your advocacy and work on this important bill!
A joyful visit to our State Capitol this weekend to advocate for key legislation in NM and lift up the amazing work of the #NMLeg. Was also so excited to honor our 2026 State Earth Science Achievement Awardee Dagmar Llewellyn for her lifetime of work protecting New Mexico’s rivers!
Happy birthday to our fearless leader! From tackling the biggest challenges to making time for even the tinniest constituents, you lead with grit, determination, and heart. We are so proud and lucky to work with you every single day. Enjoy your day, Congresswoman! - Team Stansbury 🤍
We’re coming to you from the New Mexico State Capitol today, where we’re advocating for some really important initiatives in NM. And, we’re here with updates on federal funding, the Epstein files, Congress, and everything else going on. ⬇️
Todd Blanche said that there are no names in the Epstein files. He’s lying. 1. We have already seen names of co-conspirators, & the survivors told us they gave sworn statements to police and the FBI that are in the files. 2. Trump told MTG his friends would get hurt if the full files were released.
Arresting journalists. Raiding election offices. Invading American cities. Committing violence against our own people. The worst of what we feared is here. It’s time for any of my colleagues sitting on the sidelines to do something and stand up.
Things DOJ & the FBI did this week: -Threatened continued violence in MN if voting files not handed over -Raided a GA election office for voting files -Lost a suit in OR trying to access voter files Things they did not do: -RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES. See the pattern here?
We loved Chopping it Up at the Barbershop last night at All Eyes On Me Barbershop. Thank you, Patrick and Dr. Coleman, for your leadership in the community and for inviting us to join this conversation about service and what it means to give back. ❤️
The New Mexico legislature has a choice to make: human dignity or corporate profits on the backs of our communities. When it comes to HB9, it’s really that simple. That’s why I stand with our communities and will always stand with human dignity.
These are NM’s all-stars! We are so proud of this years' Service Academy nominees, Congressional Art Competition winner, and Congressional App Challenge winners. These young people are leading with talent and distinction and are making our community proud. Congratulations to you and your families! ❤️
Protest comes in many forms, and for some, protest comes with art. Today, we stopped at 516 Arts to see their latest exhibition, The Armor We Wear. I know times are scary right now, but it’s vital we continue to do things that bring us joy! We must also not forget that art is a catalyst for change!
