Republicans are betraying the middle class and raising costs on American families, all to pay for giveaways to billionaires.
Americans deserve fair tax policy. That’s why I will be making my case for the FAIR BET Act this Friday in front of Ways and Means in Las Vegas.
Both sides of the aisle support this fix, and the Ways and Means Committee is the first hurdle to get this through Congress. Let’s get it done.
Instead of kicking the can down the road, let’s enact policies that make a real, permanent difference for all workers.
I introduced a bill that provides real relief to workers by abolishing the tipped minimum wage, increasing the minimum wage and indexing it to inflation, and providing additional protection for tipped workers.
Did you know that the current ‘No Tax on Tips’ policy from POTUS’s BS Budget sunsets in 2028 and is severely limited?
POTUS isn’t going after criminals. He’s separating families and rounding up hard working people who have come to this country legally to achieve the American dream.
The Republican Recissions package takes us in the wrong direction by defunding public broadcasting, global health programs, and more.
It is unfortunate that POTUS and House Republicans want to leave people sicker and less informed.
It’s always time to get into some good trouble. Today we honor Former Rep. John Lewis and his work as a trailblazer for Civil Rights. May we continue his fight “to bend the arc toward justice.”
The FAIR BET Act has received bipartisan support, national attention, and praise from gambling professionals.
Now, Congress needs to listen and pass this commonsense policy that treats gamblers fairly in the tax code. #TitusTalk
The FAIR BET Act is not ideological. It is just fair, good tax policy.
This is the perfect time for Congress to take up my Extreme Weather and Heat Response Modernization Act which would expand FEMA’s capabilities to support Americans during extreme heat events.
Extreme heat planning and mitigation save lives. That is why I am joining Rep. Mike Lawler in recognizing National Extreme Heat Awareness Week.
Thank you @punchbowlnews.bsky.social for spreading the word about this unfair tax provision.
It's time to pass the FAIR BET Act.
We will continue to fight for every day, hardworking Americans. This is the vision for America that I will be celebrating today, one that includes everyone and not just the top 1%.
The effects of this bill will be far reaching and detrimental, but House Democrats will address the mess that this bill leaves behind.
It is a bittersweet Fourth of July.
Unfortunately, POTUS will sign his BS budget into law, stripping Americans of their healthcare, preventing students from affording higher education, throwing out food assistance for those in need, and so many other horrible actions.
My statement on the passage of the BS Republican budget ⬇️
Well, I’m still here.
I’ve been up all night, and I’m waiting to vote no on the BS Republican budget.
I'm here in Washington, DC, to vote no on the BS Republican budget bill.
We just need four Republicans to have McCain-like courage to say this is a betrayal of the American people.
The Big Bad Republican BS Bill strips away healthcare, hurts hungry children, and takes away incentives to invest in renewable energy.
It’s an abandonment of the American public, a betrayal.
I’m voting no.
