Saying you care about Americans’ health while stripping health coverage from 17 million Americans is pure hypocrisy. The damage caused from RFK Jr.’s actions will be catastrophic – and deadly.

On today's Democratic Daily Download, @hankjohnson.house.gov marks one week since Donald Trump signed the Big, Ugly Law and explains how Republicans are making life worse for everyday Americans.
This #NationalParkandRecreationMonth, take a moment to step outside and enjoy the historic trails and beautiful green spaces that the Commonwealth has to offer. I’m proud to fight for the protection of these landmarks so future generations can explore, learn and be inspired just like we are today.
America is home to some of the most breathtaking parks and public lands in the world, and here in #MA3, we’re lucky to have two incredible national treasures: the Lowell National Historical Park and Minute Man National Historical Park!
At Donald Trump’s direction, Republicans in Congress voted to gut Medicaid.
They have no plan to prevent hospitals from closing, labor and delivery units disappearing, or millions of Americans losing their health care.
This is ridiculous.
The federal government FINALLY acted to make it easier for people to unsubscribe from services they don't need or can't afford. Now, a federal court is trying to stop that from taking place.
This was a bipartisan solution to a problem that affects all of us.

The Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill will raise electricity costs and kill 1.75 million jobs by wiping out clean energy investments. On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @repscottpeters.bsky.social explains why we must build a clean, affordable, and reliable energy future – not tear it down.
When Donald Trump uses the FBI to chase personal enemies and vendettas instead of investigating and stopping domestic security threats, we’re less safe as a country.
America once led the world in wiping out deadly diseases. Now, thanks to RFK Jr. firing the CDC’s entire vaccine panel and spreading anti-vax conspiracy theories, we just reached the highest amount of measles cases in 33 years.
This is entirely preventable.

On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @friedman.house.gov breaks down the top three things you need to know about the Republicans’ One Big, Ugly Bill — from kicking 17 million off their health care to making life harder for parents, all to fund tax breaks for the ultra-rich.
None of what we do here would be possible without their hard work, compassion and commitment to serving families across #MA3. I’m excited to see the bright futures they have ahead of them!
Please join me in recognizing the phenomenal work that #TeamTrahan’s district interns have accomplished in my Lowell office this summer!👏
I’m proud to honor their service by cosponsoring legislation to recognize today, July 9th, as #NationalLineworkerAppreciationDay!
Day in and day out, journeyman lineworkers risk their lives to keep our electric grid strong and resilient. Their hard work ensures continuous access to the safe, reliable and affordable energy that powers everything we do.
Veranova exemplifies the spirit of innovation that keeps Massachusetts at the forefront of health care advancements and cancer research. Investments like these drive groundbreaking research, support life-saving therapies and create good-paying jobs that strengthen our Commonwealth’s economy!
37 million kids depend on Medicaid.
15 million kids depend on SNAP.
Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress put their health care and food at risk to pay for giant tax breaks for billionaires.

Last week, Republicans passed their Big Ugly Bill — paying for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy on the backs of the rest of us.
On today’s Democratic Daily Download, @mcclellan.house.gov spells out exactly how this bill will cost the American people.
Yesterday I was proud to celebrate the opening of the Lowell Innovation Network Corridor’s newest advanced innovation facility, which will connect groundbreaking research with real-world solutions in clean energy, sustainable materials, and climate resiliency!
Every time I step foot on UMass Lowell’s campus, I’m reminded of what’s possible when bold ideas meet committed leadership — a future where innovation thrives, opportunity grows and students can launch meaningful careers right here in the Mill City.
Donald Trump is playing politics with our children's futures. Because this White House is withholding federal education funding, school districts may have to cancel vital programs, stop hiring teachers or delay important planning for the fall.
Trump must release these funds NOW.
