Cecile Richards was a relentless advocate for women’s rights who inspired others to fight hard for reproductive freedom.
We will honor her legacy by ensuring women have the freedom to make their own health care decisions and won't stop until Roe v. Wade is the law of the land.

I was incredibly impressed by the Virginia students who spoke on the promise of democracy and the everlasting impact of Dr. MLK Jr.'s words. Proud to have entered the winners’ names into the Congressional Record.
You all represent the best in our community!
I had a great time at the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s 40th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Youth Oratorical Competition in Prince William County on Saturday.
Today, we pause to recognize the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a true giant among men.
May we honor him and all he stood for by working each day to protect the sacred right to vote, defend the rights of our neighbors, and make the American Dream a reality for every family.
Yesterday, I had a great time at breakfast at my local VFW Post 1503.
Fun fact, this post is the largest in the world. Thanks to Prince William County Supervisor Victor Angry, Post Commander Ben Guinan, and a number of vets for joining me.
I'm honored to have been appointed to serve on the U.S. House Armed Services Committee and the U.S. House Agriculture Committee.
I look forward to working alongside my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to deliver on the priorities that matter most to the Virginians I serve.
Nobody should ever have to worry about when their next meal is coming. It was a privilege to finish a volunteer shift at the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank.
Their dedication to helping our neighbors who need it most is inspiring. I’m thankful for the work they to support our local communities.
Since getting the keys to my office two weeks ago, my dedicated casework team and I have already closed 40 constituent cases!

Last night, I had a great time with @aflcio.org.
My Dad's union benefits were my family’s ticket to the middle class and achieving the American Dream.
In Congress, I will be a champion for labor and hard-working families like my own.
After decades of fighting, 2.5 million teachers, firefighters, VA nurses, postal workers, and so many other public service workers can now retire with the FULL benefits they earned, thanks to the Social Security Fairness Act. www.cleveland.com/news/2025/01...
As a kid who grew up in and around Brooklyn, I know a thing or two about good bagels…
And what better way to celebrate National Bagel Day than by joining @repdangoldman.bsky.social’s Bagel Caucus? 🥯
Since SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade, Virginia is the only Southern state where women make their own reproductive decisions.
I'm proud to join the @reprocaucus.bsky.social, reaffirming my commitment to restoring Roe v. Wade and protecting Virginians' access to vital reproductive rights.
They have endured the unimaginable. I look forward to seeing these folks reunited with their loved ones soon.
Relieved to hear that there is an initial deal to bring more of the hostages home. We must stand united in our efforts to free all hostages held by Hamas.
This puts us on a path to ending violence in the region, a positive result for the Israeli and Palestinian people.

As a 25-year Army Veteran, paratrooper, and JAG prosecutor, I’m honored to be named to the U.S. House Armed Services Committee. I’m also looking forward to continuing the work of my predecessor as the only Virginian on the U.S. House Agriculture Committee.
Thanks to nearly $10.8 million in funding from @usdot.bsky.social, hundreds of charging ports will be deployed to rural and urban tourism destinations across the Commonwealth!
I'm glad to see the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law continue to deliver for Virginia.

I led a letter with @repschneider.bsky.social and 40 of our colleagues to urge the ICC to uphold the integrity of its mandate and reconsider its overreaching arrest warrants for Israel's leadership.
Because weakening the ICC is exactly what malign actors want.

More than $1 MILLION in funding from the Federal Railroad Administration is heading to Spotsylvania County to make safety improvements at railroad crossings!
These funds will help advance the safety and mobility of people, goods, and services throughout Virginia's Seventh District.
This is great news! The Port of Virginia is crucial to our economy, and I’m glad to see good faith cooperation to find common sense solutions to keep costs low, create more jobs, and strengthen our supply chains.
The new Fredericksburg Veterans Affairs Health Care Center is holding a hiring event and resource fair TOMORROW from 10am-2pm at Germanna Community College.
