TPS recipients aren't lawbreakers — they're here lawfully and none of them have criminal records.
That's why I'm partnering with @repdarrensoto.bsky.social and Rep. Salazar to keep Venezuelan American families together as we fight to free Venezuela from dictatorship.
Just voted HELL NO on renaming the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a waste of time.
Republicans need to stop playing name games and get to work lowering costs.

In 2011, Rep. Gabby Giffords was shot in the head by a gunman. 6 people were killed & 12 others, including Gabby, were injured.
Now, she is a leading gun violence prevention advocate standing up to Trump’s dangerous gun agenda.
Together, we’re advocating for safer communities for women.
Small business owners drive our economy, but Trump’s tariffs and chaos hurts their bottom lines.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social hear from entrepreneurs today to help ensure Main Street can thrive and hire more workers. #NationalSmallBusinessWeek

So glad to join @usrepkathycastor.bsky.social, @repdarrensoto.bsky.social and more friends at the Congressional Soccer Match!
Go Team Democrats!
Trump and DOGE froze billions in Department of Energy funding for programs designed to save families money.
When I asked Secretary Wright about it today, he dodged the question – and pretended not to know what “frozen” or “held” means.
I’m relieved that these brave Venezuelans who survived months under siege have been freed.
How can you justify forcing hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans with TPS back to this murderous regime?

I joined my friend @gabbygiffords.bsky.social, @demwomencaucus.bsky.social, and @giffords.org Executive Director Emma Brown to discuss Trump’s horrific gun agenda.
He's giving gun rights back to criminals and rolling back background checks. Our communities are less safe because of Trump’s agenda.
Children’s safety has always been a top priority.
I'm thrilled to launch the new, bipartisan Children’s Safety Caucus with Rep. Buddy Carter, @congressmanraja.bsky.social, and Rep. Don Bacon. We look forward to keeping kids safe with sensible outreach, education & initiatives.

@wassermanschultz.house.gov got a response from secretary Noem to her letter about preserving temporary protective status for Venezuelans. Norm said given the current conditions of Venezuela, absolutely not. I am so glad that Wasserman Schultz is bringing this horrific reply to our attention.

Trump is breaking aviation safety, not fixing it. DOGE fired hundreds of FAA employees – including those responsible for technical operations and support services.
We cannot sacrifice safety to satisfy Elon Musk.

I led Democrats to urge Secretary Noem to preserve TPS for Venezuelans. This was her response.
TPS holders pass background checks and pay taxes. Instead of going after real criminals, Trump wants to subject hardworking families to a criminal regime.

Trump's 100 Days have been a sh*tstorm! @michaelsteele.bsky.social speaks w/ Rep. @wassermanschultz.house.gov about the economic impact, the deportations w/o due process & what Dems can do to expose the incompetency of the current administration.

Our brilliant educators do so much more than teach: They're role models, mentors and tireless student advocates.
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
May is Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
I’m proud to celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of South Florida’s #AANHPI community.
Since taking office, Trump choked off critical investments that families, businesses, and local governments count on.

When my team called the local Social Security office, the wait was 3 hours long. Trump and Musk’s cuts to Social Security will only make it worse.
I joined seniors, advocates, and Social Security employees to sound the alarm.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
