The Director of National Intelligence is entrusted with one of the most serious responsibilities in government: providing objective, fact-based intelligence to policymakers and the American people, regardless of politics or pressure from the White House.
I also appreciate her willingness to serve her country in a variety of different roles.
First and foremost, my thoughts are with Tulsi Gabbard and her family as her husband battles cancer. Anyone who has watched a loved one go through a serious illness understands the toll it takes, and I wish him strength and hope for a full recovery in the difficult days ahead.
It looks like Trump’s chaos and corruption might finally be too much for some Republicans.
Government should work to make things more affordable for Americans – that’s why I’m fighting every week to lower housing, child care, and energy costs.
Trump views this government as his personal piggy bank, shaking it down for ballrooms, slush funds, and insider trades.

It was a great morning celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month with @markwarner.bsky.social, @bobbyscott.house.gov, @repsuhas.bsky.social, @ltgovhashmi.bsky.social, and Virginia’s AANHPI community.

It’s time for Kash Patel to go.
I first met Barney Frank when I was in law school and he was a state legislator, but I really got to know him when we worked closely together on Dodd-Frank. He was a “wicked smaht,” courageous leader and he’ll be very missed.
Good news! A few more Republicans found a spine today and voted to rein in the war in Iran. There’s a long way to go, but this is a good step.
A majority of Americans oppose Trump’s war in Iran. When will my Republican colleagues stand up and say enough is enough?
Trump is stealing $1.8 billion taxpayer dollars to give away to friends and allies…. On top of the billions he’s squandered on new wars.
This money could go to lowering your health care, child care, or energy costs… instead it’s being given to Trump’s friends.

NEW: I’m raising the alarm about Trump’s disastrous “Trump Mobile” phone company breaking promises to consumers and running misleading ads.
We can’t let Trump get away with endless grifts that raise costs for Americans – I’m pressing for answers.
Trump’s ongoing war with Iran is causing a worldwide oil crisis that’s skyrocketing the price of gas for Americans. It’s time to end this chaos.
