Mark R. Warner

Mark Robert Warner is an American businessman and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Virginia, a seat he has held since 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Warner served as the 69th governor of Virginia from 2002 to 2006. He is vice chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus and vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

While more than 100,000 Americans die every year due to drug overdoses, the president fired the Assistant Director of the FBI's the Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch, which, among other myriad responsibilities, puts criminal organizations and drug traffickers behind bars.
Bobby Wells began his career as an FBI special agent in 2003, and there are Americans who are alive today because he helped catch terrorists before they had a chance to carry out their plans to attack inside the United States.
Earlier today, my office finally received a copy of the order that was sent on Friday by the acting head of the Department of Justice to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, ordering that several of the most experienced and senior officials at the Bureau be terminated.
Virginians shouldn’t be paying extra for an All-Star Special. I’m deeply concerned by rising egg prices and want to see more action to protect Virginia consumers and poultry producers that are getting hurt by the effects of the avian flu.
USAID is an essential organization that supports the global economy and saves lives. If Trump or his unelected copresident succeed in shuttering it, it will deeply weaken America’s position in the world in a free giveaway to China. We’re going to fight this.
