Fibroids impact 80% of women yet only 0.03% of our research dollars go to studying it. I sat down with women’s health providers at Frederick Health to discuss how my U-FIGHT Act will fight for fibroid research, and how we can ensure access to women’s health care in Western MD.
Thank you Frederick for welcoming Congresswoman McClain Delaney and me! We loved taking your questions and hearing your concerns. Let’s stay encouraged, and let’s encourage each other. We are going to make it through this time. Together.
I was glad to meet with Westminster’s Downtown Business Association and assure them that I am fighting back to protect our businesses and lower costs. This business community goes above and beyond to support one another, and ensure that Westminster has a thriving economy.
I am praying for the innocent lives taken, all those who were injured, and for the families grieving their children today. I am grateful to our first responders who acted quickly and the health care workers providing care.
Health care workers care for everyone – illness does not discriminate. But now health care workers are spending precious time worrying about cuts to Medicaid and rural health care. I am grateful to have heard directly from health care leaders from the Eastern Shore region.
It was such a joy to meet with seniors – and young children – at the Chesapeake Grove Intergenerational Center. This beautiful center cares for young children and creates a community for our seniors. I assured the seniors I will always work to protect them.
I had such a great time enjoying crabs at Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Zeta Sigma Chapter’s 40th Annual Crab Feast in Baltimore! During these challenging times in our country, I am grateful to surround myself with love, joy, and community.
The Trump Administration has made it clear: they are callously using Kilmar Ábrego García as a pawn and a distraction. We live in a nation of laws, and as much as Trump may hate it, Kilmar Ábrego García is entitled to due process.
