Farmers are some of the hardest-working people I know, supplying food for not only Wisconsin but the world. We should be setting them up for success. Instead, Trump’s war is doing the opposite of that.
Trump told Americans that his luxurious ballroom was going to be privately funded. Now, he is trying to force American families to pay $1 BILLION for a ballroom that they didn’t ask for.
Everywhere I travel across Wisconsin, I hear from families who are being crushed by the high cost of housing. I had a great discussion with leaders in Eau Claire about how our bipartisan bill will help bring down housing costs and rein in corporate landlords from buying up single-family homes.
President Trump said he’d bring down costs and wouldn’t start any foreign wars. Well, Americans have now spent over $25 billion on his illegal war in Iran, and gas prices are reaching an all time high. This is not what the American people were promised.
Sports fans should be able to watch the teams they love without blackouts or costly streaming subscriptions. Today, I joined local restaurant and sports bar owners in Madison to discuss how my bill will make that a reality.
The Voting Rights Act has protected Americans’ – particularly those who have been disenfranchised – right to vote and be properly represented in Congress for decades. The campaign to dismantle it is a deliberate effort to silence some American voices and give more power to politicians.
