Tonight, the Senate unanimously passed my resolution condemning the tragic shooting at Evergreen High School on September 10th. My thoughts remain with the victims who are still healing, the brave first responders who saved countless lives, and the entire Evergreen community. (1/2)
President Trump and Republicans are refusing to negotiate with Democrats to prevent healthcare costs from skyrocketing and avoid a government shutdown. A shutdown will be on President Trump’s shoulders – and he agrees.
Exposure to wildfire smoke can create lifelong health issues, years after the wildfire has been extinguished. We are on track to lose hundreds of Coloradans each year if we don’t treat long-term wildfire risks and invest in protecting our communities from deadly wildfire smoke.
Rio Blanco County faces ongoing threats to its economy and safety from one of the worst fires in our state’s history. That’s why I'm urging President Trump to declare a Major Disaster and deliver the federal assistance this community needs to recover.
25 years ago, the FDA approved mifepristone as a safe and trusted drug for medication abortions. As access to this trusted medication is threatened, I will continue to fight for women’s reproductive freedoms and the right to safe and legal reproductive care.
Colorado is the most beautiful state in America thanks to our incredible public lands. Today, we celebrate National Public Lands Day as a reminder of our shared responsibility to conserve the public lands we love and continue fighting to protect them for future generations of Coloradans.
Chancellor Merz is right. As I've argued for years, the U.S., Europe, and our allies must leverage Russia's sovereign assets to support Ukraine's fight against Putin’s aggression.
Opinion: We need the mobilisation of resources on a scale that will secure Ukraine's military resilience, writes Germany's Chancellor Friedrich Merz. on.ft.com/3VwJoCj
As wildfires pose greater threats to our state and way of life, we must bolster important mitigation efforts across Colorado. I’m glad the investments we fought to secure in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law continue to benefit Colorado and safeguard our communities from worsening wildfire risk.
Days after Trump demanded AG Pam Bondi prosecute his opponents, Former FBI Director Comey was indicted. Trump's weaponization of the DOJ to enact personal revenge is a gross abuse of power. This morning, he threatened that there would be others. Trump's DOJ is a clear threat to the rule of law.
Colorado is the perfect location for this international competition. I look forward to welcoming world-class athletes from Colorado and around the world to this milestone championship. (2/2)
Congratulations to @colorado.edu scientists and researchers on this incredible opportunity to expand our understanding of the origins of our solar system. This groundbreaking technology and others developed across Colorado remind us to never stop reaching and never stop exploring.
Last week, I met with Voces Unidas CO and Color Latina and heard powerful stories from Coloradans about the fear that immigrant families are experiencing every day. We must fight for dignity, safety, and opportunity for every family in Colorado.
It's Fall, Colorado! 🍂 As the leaves change and temperatures cool, now is one of the best times to explore the beautiful landscapes our state has to offer. I hope everyone finds time to get outside and enjoy the season.
As grocery prices rise & Republicans’ cuts to food assistance drive more families into food insecurity, Trump wants to disguise the devastating effects from the public. This report is critical to our fight against hunger in America & Trump has abandoned it just as he’s abandoned working families.
Congratulations to CU Boulder on being ranked number one for launching startups. Over a decade ago, CU Boulder launched 4 to 6 startups annually. In the last year, they launched 35. These companies are leading in innovation and creating real-world impacts for Coloradans & the rest of the country.
Ed Dwight is one of Colorado's true living legends. After becoming the first Black astronaut candidate, he continued to be a trailblazer in aviation, art, and science. I will continue pushing for Ed to receive the Congressional Gold Medal and recognition for his accomplishments.

In the days ahead, I will continue working with bipartisan colleagues to fund our government and protect access to health care. Coloradans cannot afford to wait. (5/5)
Democrats have offered a commonsense budget proposal. Our bill keeps the government running, protects vital Affordable Care Act tax credits for Coloradans, and repeals the cruel Medicaid cuts in Trump's budget bill. (4/5)
