The Trump admin’s illegal, vindictive cancellation of CT clean energy grants will only raise energy costs, reduce electricity reliability & create more pollution. I’m writing to DOE Sec. Wright demanding answers about this reckless, revengeful action.
Check this out: A CT couple in their 50s with a college age child making $50,000 will see their monthly insurance premium increase over 200%. 2025: $73 2026: $250 Democrats are fighting to protect millions of Americans from these skyrocketing health care costs.
Listen to the Insurance Commissioners—in red states like North Dakota as well as blue—saying that health insurance subsidies must be extended NOW. Delaying the extension makes health insurance unaffordable for open market enrollees—3 out of 4 living in states Trump won. 1/
Republicans control the presidency & both chambers of Congress.  They decided to shut down the gov't instead of working with Democrats to make your health care more affordable. Democrats are standing strong & resolute in the fight to prevent people from paying sky-high costs.
Republicans are driving our country to a health care crisis & a government shutdown—Democrats are fighting to fund the government & protect Americans' access to affordable health care. I call on my Republican colleagues to join us & find a bipartisan solution.
President Trump is barreling towards a government shutdown. Trump has inflicted destruction on the American health care system, & unless we find a bipartisan solution, Americans will continue to feel the pain of his chaos.
President Trump would rather shut down the government than protect Americans' health care. It's time for my Republican colleagues to stop bowing to Trump's demands & work with Democrats to find a bipartisan solution that puts Americans' needs first.
Proud to stand with doctors, vaccine experts & researchers to demand Sec. Kennedy stop the spread of vaccine misinformation & reverse devastating cuts to research funding. Vaccines are safe & effective. They can save lives.
Ukraine can powerfully boost U.S. drone production & technology—with immense expertise gained from cutting edge drone warfare against Russia. Joint U.S.-Ukrainian production can propel us to the front, before our adversaries develop A.I. enabled drones capable of carrying WMDs.
Upbeat, encouraging meeting with President Zelenskyy after his historic U.N. speech & positive conversation yesterday with President Trump. Ukraine at a critical turning point urgently needs our support, both military & economic.
By the way, did the investigation find & retrieve the $50,000 cash? Did Homan ever pay taxes on it? Those questions & others hang over Homan. Americans deserve answers. And, not least, Homan’s resignation.
What are Bondi & DOJ hiding? There’s no excuse for keeping Homan’s file concealed. The investigation is supposedly closed—so the tape of his accepting a $50,000 bag of cash, interview records, & other evidence, all can & should be released.
