I’m proud to stand with Planned Parenthood in the fight to protect public health and preserve access to affordable, high-quality reproductive care. We will not let Republican extremists get away with endangering lives, stripping away women’s rights, and undermining our freedoms.
The Big Ugly Bill contains dangerous provisions to defund Planned Parenthood, cutting off care for more than 1.1 million patients who may have nowhere else to turn for birth control, STI testing, cancer screenings, and other essential reproductive healthcare.
Today and every day, I stand with the 70 million Americans who count on Social Security. I will not stop fighting to protect and strengthen Social Security, because it works, because Americans have earned it, and because our country made a promise – one I intend to keep.
Now, the Trump administration is escalating those attacks, sabotaging the Social Security Administration from within by cutting its workforce, closing field offices, breaking online services, and forcing Americans to wait in hours-long waits just to access the benefits they have earned.
Stories like this are a powerful reminder of why we must keep fighting for every veteran to receive the benefits and recognition they have earned. I am grateful for GCVF’s steadfast advocacy and look forward to continuing our strong partnership to serve those who have served our nation.
