To Trump, it doesn’t matter if you’re Somali, Haitian, or African American – we’re all just props in his latest round of disgusting fear mongering.
Every public official should denounce this racism and the violence it will no doubt encourage. When he talks like this, violence follows.
This is who he is, and he’s only getting louder about it.
As a Member of Congress, a Black woman, and a human being, I must call this what is it is: racist, dangerous, and meant to turn people into targets.
Donald Trump’s vile attacks on @repilhan.bsky.social and foul language about Somali Americans aren’t just beneath the office of the Presidency. They are beneath any American. It’s the same pattern we saw with his disgusting lies about Haitian Americans in Springfield, Ohio last year.
The Oversight Committee just passed my bill, the SAMOSA Act 43-0!
This is a huge win for government efficiency, preventing duplicative software spending, saving taxpayer dollars, and helping ensure agencies have modern systems.
This is what good government looks like folks.
It’s time for Speaker Johnson to bring this bill to the floor without delay.
Trump is a union-busting and anti-worker president – but we are fighting back.
A majority of the House has backed legislation to restore the collective bargaining rights of 1 million federal workers – forcing a vote.

America can't afford Trump's cruel health care cuts and greedy tax giveaways for the rich
thehill.com/opinion/heal...
On this day in 1955, Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white passenger. Today, we honor her courage in standing up for Black Americans at a crucial moment in history. Let us remember her dedication to civil rights and use her example as as a reminder to never accept injustice.
Flight get cancelled? Trump says that's fine with him.
Trump just made flight delays even more miserable, cancelling a Biden program to require customers get compensated for delays.
His whole life he's been on private planes, he doesn't care.

Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I am praying for the two West Virginia Guardsmen and their loved ones after today’s horrific attack in D.C.
There is no place for this sort of senseless violence in our country.
What Congress SHOULD have done before the Thanksgiving holiday:
Thank you @mcclellan.house.gov for having me on your show, I felt right at home.
Be on the lookout for my full interview on Moments with McClellan- coming soon!
Republicans have made everything more expensive — even Thanksgiving. Thanks to Trump’s agenda everything from the cost of cranberry sauce to turkey is up 10% from just last year!
Elon Musk & Trump bragged that DOGE would cut $2 TRILLION in fraud/waste, and they'd cut everyone a $5k check.
The exact opposite happened. They fired thousands of federal workers, cut resources for the poorest and most vulnerable, and wasted taxpayer dollars. What a disgrace.
The Do Nothing MAGA Congress is at it again. After hiding for six weeks during Trump’s shutdown, they wrapped up the legislative week with a vote on denouncing socialism...
Meanwhile, grocery prices are up and millions are about to lose health care. 🙄😒
It doesn't have to be this way. Democrats have been ready to vote to extend ACA credits for months.
Republicans haven't been interested - and now millions will see huge price increases.
Cancel the cuts, lower the costs, protect health care.

Trump’s Big Ugly Law made the largest cuts to SNAP in history. MILLIONS lose benefits. All to give tax cuts to the rich.
Today, Dems in Congress filed legislation to cancel the cuts – and I’m proud to be on the bill. NE Ohio can’t afford Trump’s greed.

There's always a new low with Trump. His latest deranged posts calling for the death of Democratic lawmakers are beyond repulsive. This is such a dangerous path. We simply cannot keep tolerating this - Trump's awful comments must be condemned.
In addition to being wrong, what Trump's doing is illogical – less research means less effective and more expensive health care for everyone.
Cancel the cuts, protect health care.
