Nothing better than a visit to a Vermont staple 🥖💛 So grateful to spend time with the folks at King Arthur Flour - an employee-owned company that proves you can build a business rooted in community, fairness, and really good bread. Thanks for all you do to keep America baking! 🍞
We are now 32 days into Trump’s illegal war and we have paid at least $25 billion for it. Here’s a look at what we could have done with those taxpayer dollars. Trump needs to bring this reckless war of choice to an end now & return focus to lowering costs and increasing opportunities here at home.
$25 billion in 32 days to fund the illegal war in Iran that could have gone to:

1. 29,614,000 children receiving free school lunch for a school year.
2. 2,865,000 adults with free tuition at community college for a 2 year associates degree
3. 1,780,000 children covered for a year of childcare.
4. 3,106,000 people being covered by Medicaid for year.
5. 3,147,000 people housed in Section 8 for a year.

Mandating the death penalty for Palestinians but not Israelis for the same crime undermines basic human rights and reinforces systems of violence. The U.S. cannot continue supporting a regime that is committing genocidal acts. (2/2)
On Trans Day of Visibility, we celebrate the courage, joy, and resilience of trans people in Vermont and across the country. You deserve to live freely, safely, and as yourself. You belong exactly as you are. I see you, I stand with you, and I’ll never stop fighting for your rights. 🏳️‍⚧️

Yesterday, the community sent a clear message: they are sick and tired of the Epstein class and the incompetence of this administration. They want a government that listens to them and works for working people.
The raid on journalist Hannah Natanson is just one of many examples of why the Privacy Protection Act of 1980 must be strengthened. A new bill by @wyden.senate.gov and @balint.house.gov would do just that. We’re proud to endorse it.
Republicans exploded the deficit by $5 trillion to give rich people tax breaks and want to pump another $200 billion into an unnecessary war but “can’t find” any money for healthcare subsidies for working people. Let’s talk about it!
Americans don’t want to live in a country where masked federal agents can carry you away in an unmarked car. If we want to remain a free country, we need to stand up, speak out and push back loudly.
