The separation of church and state is foundational to American democracy—and houses of worship must remain shielded from partisan politics. That’s why I joined @repjamesclyburn.bsky.social & @raskin.house.gov to call on the administration to uphold these principles. religionnews.com/2025/11/20/e...
The president’s “peace plan” looks strikingly similar to Russia’s wish list. The president has been played by Putin over and over this year. It’s time that Congress steps up to put an end to the administration’s capitulation by enacting sanctions on Russia. www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/1...
At a time when political violence is on the rise, the president is pouring fuel on the fire by calling for his political opponents to be killed for saying that troops should follow the law. It’s dangerous, disgraceful, and should be strongly condemned by all.
CNN details Trump's calls to violence against Democratic lawmakers: "Just to remind you, this is the president of the United States, at a time of dangerous political violence in this country, suggesting that 6 Democrats be killed for saying that troops shouldn't break any laws."
The American people are calling for bipartisan reforms that will lower housing costs. Rep. Flood and I introduced the bipartisan HOME Reform Act to provide relief and ensure the American Dream is attainable for working-class families. www.housingwire.com/articles/hou...
It’s time to ban stock trading among America’s lawmakers once and for all. I’ve cosponsored legislation that would do just that—and I’ll continue pushing to enact a stock trading ban until Congress does what’s right. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
Update: now he’s suggesting the Democratic lawmakers should be executed.
POTUS on social media in the last few hours: * Calls for prosecution of Democrats who advised troops to not carry out “illegal orders”; * Calls for network to fire comedian who makes fun of him; * Posts AI video of him kicking ball a soccer star * random quote praising himself
The president promised he would usher in a “Golden Age” for America, but his tariff taxes and reckless economic policies are driving up prices and pushing the economy into a “Trump Slump.” Instead of enriching himself and his friends, he should focus on providing relief to hardworking families.
New data shows the unemployment rate has increased to 4.4%. This is the highest unemployment rate since October 2021.
On #TransgenderDayOfRemembrance, we honor the memories of those in the trans community whose lives were cut short by anti-trans violence. With my colleagues in the @equality.house.gov, I am committed to combatting hate and fighting to #ProtectTransLives. #TDOR
The president’s reckless tariff taxes drove up prices and closed critical markets for American farmers. After announcing a “deal” with China, “there’s little evidence that China plans to follow through on its purchase commitments of U.S. soybeans.” www.brownfieldagnews.com/news/china-s...
The nation saw the pain that families faced when SNAP funding was withheld by the administration during the Republican shutdown. Now, millions of families are about to lose benefits permanently thanks to the president’s Big Ugly Bill. www.politico.com/news/2025/11...
As the president slashes investments in cheap renewable energy, utility bills are rising, and American families are falling behind. Rather than doing the bidding of his Big Oil donors, the president should focus on lowering energy costs for families. apnews.com/article/trum...
“Those losses can affect whole communities, not just the particular patients who rely on Medicaid; patients with private insurance will also lose access to services…And the costs of health insurance could go up as hospitals try to squeeze more dollars from the patients who are still paying”
When the G.O.P. Medicaid Cuts Arrive, These Hospitals Will Be Hit Hardest www.nytimes.com/2025/11/18/u...
The president spent trillions of dollars extending tax breaks for the wealthiest 1% and handed a $40 billion bailout to Argentina. But he refuses to extend ACA tax credits that help working-class families afford health care. It’s cruel and callous. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
If the president will not uphold his promise to release the Epstein Files, then Congress must. Today, I look forward to voting to release the Epstein Files, bringing justice to the survivors and truth to the American people. I hope that my colleagues in the Senate will do the same.
Khanna: "I don't want the DC swamp playing any games. They should pass this in the Senate. They should not amend it ... no amendments, no adding loopholes. Justice is long overdue."
