Garland wasn’t exactly quick to charge. No “ light brigade.”not a war time consigliere.
President Iham Aliyev says Moscow initially tried to "cover up" its role in the Azerbaijan Airlines crash.
Putin must admit liability, compensate victims, and punish offenders!
Jimmy Carter was one of the most honest & moral presidents, no doubt our finest former POTUS. From his Nobel Peace Prize to Habitat for Humanity, his compassion was unmatched.
I’ll never forget seeing him on my flight from ATL-DC—he shook hands with every passenger. What a marvelous human being.
Sanctioning #Ivanishvili is a strong step by President Biden to push back against Putin’s influence & defend Georgia’s democracy. Corrupt oligarchs and enablers of authoritarianism must be held accountable. I stand with our allies in the fight for freedom & democracy. www.bbc.com/news/article...

It’s an honor every day to represent #Memphis and TN-9. Happy holidays to all, and wishing you a happy and successful 2025!

. @casten.house.gov & I fought to release this report because the public had a right to see it. They paid for it.
I commend the Ethics Cmte. members who voted to release. This isn’t just sex and drugs—it's unethical use of campaign funds, financial improprieties, and a panoply of violations.

The House GOP broke several bipartisan agreements in their new CR, but I won't stand for a broken promise on DSH payments—funding for hospitals serving the poorest, like Regional One in #Memphis.
I've fought for DSH & ROH (The Med) since the Obama Admin. and I won't stop now. I'm a NO on this CR.
More than 22,000 infants and children in #Memphis and TN-9 would lose food assistance through WIC during a shutdown. 10,000+ federal workers would miss paychecks, not to mention contractors.
That’s where Musk and Trump are leading the GOP, while they dine at Mar-a-Lago. Happy holidays to us.
