If the War Powers Resolution had been brought to the House floor for a vote yesterday, it would have passed.
House Republicans knew this. So they cancelled votes.
The American people do not want this war, they want lower prices.

The donor milk industry is growing. That is why today I am introducing the bipartisan DONOR Milk Act, which would ensure the food we feed our babies is high quality and safe.
Donor milk is a Critical Food vital to lifting up the next generation. We must treat it seriously.
Republicans want to let Trump use YOUR MONEY to pay out his criminal January 6th rioters.
Since he has been in office, the price of groceries, gas, and utilities has gone up. Trump's first priority: helping criminals and his billionaire buddies.
You are paying the cost of Trump’s $1.8 billion January 6 criminal payout. In CT, $3 out of every $100 in individual income taxes will pay for it.
This handout enriches Trump & his allies, while Americans struggle with the cost-of-living crisis deepened by his war in Iran.
Nothing says "I have nothing to hide" like shutting down every current AND future IRS investigations.
No one is above the law, including any current President. This is clear corruption.
President Trump is trying to force your tax payer money to fund:
💵$100 Million arch
💵$1 Billion ballroom
💵$1.8 Billion for his J6 criminal supporters
The tip of the iceberg. This is not what Americans want or deserve.
Trump disclosed thousands of stock trades worth up to $750 million in companies his own administration regulates like Nvidia, Boeing, Microsoft, and Meta.
He’s more focused on enriching himself than doing anything to help Americans with high prices.

Russia's repeated attacks on civilians and humanitarian workers are war crimes.
The international community must condemn this senseless attack and stand with Ukraine as it fights for freedom.

BREAKING: @delauro.house.gov just introduced a new resolution outlining 10 priorities to create a radically different model for trade that would put working families first, not corporate profits.
Today, I introduced my Fair Trade for Working Families Resolution alongside my @housedemocrats.bsky.social colleagues & advocates.

House Republicans are once again defunding law enforcement by cutting more than 1,000 ATF positions. Crime will go unchecked, and Americans will end up less safe.

One year into the Trump Administration, Americans are facing the highest inflation in years.
Instead of lowering costs, he set sky-high tariffs and launched a war with Iran. Hardworking families are paying the price.
For the first time in three years, Americans' wages are no longer outpacing inflation, further compounding affordability concerns. https://cnn.it/3R39Zbe
Families are struggling with the rising cost of gas, groceries, & everyday necessities.
Instead of addressing this crisis, Trump is asking Congress for $1.5 trillion in defense funding.
The American people deserve answers. Watch the hearing here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Tub...
I joined HealthyStart & the community foundation NH to discuss the importance of funding infant & maternal health programs ahead of Mother’s Day.
I stand with moms & families across the country in the fight to continue funding the Healthy Start Initiative despite its elimination in Trump’s budget.
Congratulations to CT-03's New Haven Indy on receiving 13 awards from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists!
This recognition of Indy's critical reporting on ICE, housing, and the impact of national issues on our local communities is well-deserved!
I met with staff at the Yale Child Study Center including Dr. Ibrahim whose NIH-funded research is directly impacting CT youth & families, advancing our understanding of social media on youth mental health & brain development.
I’ll continue to fight to protect NIH from continued attacks.
