Congressmen Evans & Boyle recently joined with their Ways & Means Committee colleagues in calling for that: bsky.app/profile/repd...
@waysmeanscmte.bsky.social Democrats are calling on co-President/ billionaire donor Elon Musk to appear before our committee and answer questions on the actions of DOGE. House Republicans talk about rooting out waste, fraud & abuse, so I think they should be all for this transparency!
Democrats have built on the success of the ACA- capping the cost of insulin in Medicare, lowering premiums, & securing Medicare drug price negotiations. On the other hand, while Trump & Congressional GOP continue attacking this progress, they STILL only have *concepts of a plan* for a replacement.
After 8 years, the president-elect still only has *concepts of a plan* for better health care! As someone with a pre-existing condition, I want to KEEP the Affordable Care Act’s protections, & new gains like Biden’s $35 monthly cost cap for insulin in Medicare that I voted for.
Under the Affordable Care Act, Democrats transformed health care— expanding access to affordable health care coverage and protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions. 15 years later and it's still a really big deal. #ThanksObama
As a product of Philly's public schools & former educator- I know Trump gutting the Department of Education could be devastating for students across our country. This action is an illegal power grab & was never about protecting our children- it's about lining the pockets of GOP billionaire donors.
So, it’s 'let them eat cake?' from Trump’s Commerce Secretary 👀 If your Social Security payment doesn't arrive, ABSOLUTELY you should call Social Security. And then call my office at 215-276-0340- we're here to help!
Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnick says if Social Security skipped a check, his mother-in-law wouldn’t complain—and if you would, it indicates you are probably a fraudster. Insane.
I met with Caroline from Fairmount earlier this week to talk about how the GOP's agenda will impact her family. Her son has autism & is one of the thousands of Philly students affected by Trump/Musk's threats to cutting of critical education funding.
No matter how much Republicans lie about protecting Medicaid, remember the facts: 🔴 Medicaid pays nearly 95% of payments properly. 🔴 Millions of dead people are not receiving payments. 🔴 Republicans need Medicaid cuts to make Trump's budget work. www.kff.org/medicaid/iss...

Democrats aren’t stopping here. Democrats understand that we have a duty to the American people to know what DOGE is doing. In a new follow-up letter to Republicans, we're calling on Elon Musk to appear before the Committee: democrats-waysandmeans.house.gov/media-center...
Caroline’s son is just one of the 3.1 MILLION Pennsylvanians who rely on this critical program. As the Trump-Musk administration continues pushing for the largest Medicaid cut in history, I am fighting back to protect access to affordable health care for ALL.
On this #MedicaidDayofAction, I met with Caroline, a mom from Fairmount whose son relies on Medicaid. Caroline said it best: "My son is not waste. My son is not a fraud. And he is not an abuse of the systems that are trying to support him, so he can live a meaningful life."
Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings talked about the critical lawsuits happening across our country, pushing back against the Trump-Musk Administration. "We sued and we're winning," she said. Take a listen below 👇🏾
I asked Gov. Shapiro about the impacts of GOP Medicaid cuts to our Commonwealth. As the governor said: "If you go and cut Medicaid, you are harming Philadelphians. You are harming Pennsylvanians who are trying to get access to health care."
