Trump’s abuse of power now includes blocking food for kids, SNAP, Meals on Wheels, funding for police, firefighters, veterans & more. Congressional Democrats oppose Trump’s radical, unconstitutional power grab – will any Republicans?
This #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay, let us take pause to remember the millions of innocent souls, including six million Jewish people, who were murdered during the Holocaust. In their memories, let us continue standing up against antisemitism and hate in every form.

Whole Foods workers in Philadelphia and across the country deserve to have their right to form a union respected. Alongside @scanlon.house.gov and @repdwightevans.bsky.social, I'm calling on Whole Foods to respect its employees’ rights ahead of Monday's election at the Whole Foods in Center City.
We write as the Philadelphia delegation to the United States House of Representatives concerning the current unionization effort by employees of the Whole Foods Market location at 2101 Pennsylvania Avenue.

It is our understanding that eligible employees, who are our collective constituents, will participate in an election to be held this Monday, January 27th to determine whether or not they will opt to collectively bargain as members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1776. It is our further understanding that reports have emerged of employees having been subject to various forms of obstruction by Whole Foods Market management as they exercise their legal right to attempt to unionize.

We cannot stress strongly enough our concern with such reports. As Members of Congress who support workers’ rights to form a union if they choose, we ask and fully expect that Whole Foods Market will allow Monday’s election to proceed without interference. These workers are the foundation of your business, and their desire to exercise their rights is one that should be respected, not obstructed. We hope you will respect both the process and the outcome of Monday’s election, and that you will show your workers the consideration they deserve as they make this decision for themselves.
Thank you for your time and attention to this important matter.
Ahead of this Sunday's matchup, @ivey.house.gov and I placed a friendly food bet on the NFC Championship. Check out the video to see what we DO agree on! Bottom line: I'm looking forward to enjoying a Maryland Crab Bomb, because the Eagles are in it for the win! #FlyEaglesFly
On this solemn anniversary of the former #RoevWade decision, millions are still without access to essential health care because of the GOP's extreme agenda. While reproductive health care is still safe & legal in Pennsylvania, today and every day I'm fighting to restore this critical right for ALL.
House Republicans support freeing violent felons who brutally attacked police officers on January 6. The Republican decision to release these dangerous criminals into our communities makes America less safe.
ICYMI: President Trump signed over 200 executive orders yesterday, including pardons for criminals who violently attacked police officers and tried to overturn an election. One thing is starkly missing- an *actual* plan to lower health care and grocery prices for working families.

Today, as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a specific quote of his comes to mind: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
Yesterday, the Biden-Harris Administration announced 15 MORE drugs are covered under the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program. Three years ago, I voted for the law that allows Medicare to negotiate drug costs. I'm proud to see it continue to deliver for hard-working Americans!
Thank you, President Biden, for taking this long-overdue step to recognize the #EqualRightsAmendment is the law of the land. I urge the Archivist to publish the ERA as the 28th Amendment now that it has been properly ratified.
ICYMI: Thanks to the Biden-Harris Administration and the CFPB, medical debt will now be removed from credit reports. I applaud the finalization of this rule and urge the next administration to keep it in place. No one should be financially punished for having a medical emergency!
Medical debt is the largest source of debt in collection in the United States, and it’s more likely to be held by women, people with disabilities and Black Americans.
Under President Biden’s leadership we have made historic progress— 16.6 million new jobs, once-in-a-generation investment in infrastructure & manufacturing, lowered health care costs, enacted major gun safety legislation, and more! Thank you, President Biden, for your service to our nation.
