In the 37 years since The Simpsons was created, we have gone from a middle-class family being able to get by with one working parent and three children as the norm – to that reality being out of reach for too many young people.

Our region was once a hub of maritime industry – and with these federal funds and holistic planning, we can continue to grow our maritime maintenance into an industry leader once again.
We focused on critical dredging needs, workforce development opportunities with CAT North and community colleges, and committed to a plan to ensure these federal investments get on the ground smoothly.
After visiting last year as part of our year-long military installation tour, I returned this week to take a deep-dive on their fleet modernization plans and how they design, build, and maintain military vessels for all the branches of our Armed Services.
