People from different political ideologies are showing up, all pissed about how working people are being stolen from in order to give corrupt billionaires and mega-corporations a tax cut.
Packed house in Sarasota this morning — with a full room and overflow — alongside @chrismurphyct.bsky.social to bring the fight directly to the people. While Republican members of Congress hide from their constituents, we're showing up in red districts across the country.
Republicans just voted down my amendment on the Oversight committee that would nullify their budget cuts if the President defies a Supreme Court ruling. Why? Chair Comer said that the budget could actually be nullified. He conceded that Trump is and can defy a ruling.
Trump was winning on the economy and immigration just months ago. Now he’s underwater on both. Turns out Americans want lower prices AND a humane immigration system that respects due process. The good news is, Democrats focusing on both is working. We can’t let up.
New Fox News poll: Trump’s job approval rating is 44% positive, 55% negative. On issues, voters approve of his handling of border security (+15) and disapprove on everything else… including immigration (-1) and taxes (-15), the economy (-18), tariffs (-25) and inflation (-26).
@chrismurphyct.bsky.social & I are headed to North Carolina for our Town Hall tour! Rep Richard Hudson not only refuses to hold a Townhall, he’s the guy who told Republicans in Congress not to hold any. So we’ll do it with @abreezeclayton.bsky.social in his district. RSVP -> mobilize.us/s/OuidJN

Frost: I still hold the supreme court is very much skewed to the right… But the fact the court is so skewed to the right even then they are still saying in a unanimous decision that he needs to be brought home shows that should not be a partisan issue
