Last night, Republicans passed Trump's rescissions package that makes devastating cuts to public aid and foreign assistance.
This bill hurts our communities here in NC and sets back efforts to fight deadly diseases worldwide. I proudly voted no, and will fight to restore this funding.
For over 2 years, I have been working to address these issues including a visit to the facility & letter which did not receive a response.
Now, I am going public with my efforts. The Bureau of Prisons must answer my questions & ensure the safety of staff & those incarcerated at the facility. (2/2)
