Right now, only one VA facility nationwide allows veterans who live in their vehicles or RVs the option of secure overnight parking at the VA facility - which provides vets with an option of not driving home that same day.

The last thing veterans need after serving their country is to be forced into one-size-fits all housing solutions when they’re trying to build their own home or site their RV.
My amendment asks @deptvetaffairs.bsky.social to allow vets to use VA home loans for land to park their mobile home or RV

We see eye to eye on this @secrollins.govpeeps.com @usdagov.bsky.social - help us fix these nonsense food prep regulations and legalize fresh fruit for our toddlers!
WA state regs make it illegal for some daycare teachers to peel a banana - but opening a bag of Cheetos is just fine. Sadly, many states in the country treat serving fruits and vegetables in the same bureaucratic class as making sushi - and the result is more processed food for toddlers.
These big boys are driving up food costs for families by gorging on salmon. I’m doing something about it

Thank you to Hudson’s Bay High School construction class for giving me the opportunity to listen and learn from you.

Having self determination and being a people who make things - not just consumers - is what makes us Americans.
I’m always inspired by the next generation of the trades workforce as they continue this tradition.

The credibility of Congress is rotting under the weight of unaddressed corruption and sleaze-all four of these Members should save their last shred of dignity and resign.

This is welcome news for us in Southwest Washington. I’m grateful to federal partners and to our local leaders who are putting in the work to make sure this money lands where it’s needed most. My office stands ready to provide assistance. washingtonstatestandard.com/briefs/trump...
My friends from the City of Washougal.
We share the same priorities in getting the 32nd St Rail Crossing project across the finish line and had a great talk about building water system upgrades and ensuring our water utilities and ratepayers don’t have to bear the brunt of PFAS cleanup costs.
They are the people we want in the water during an emergency and I came away reminded again how fortunate we are to have brave, competent people like this looking out for us.
It was an incredible privilege to spend an afternoon with the patriots of the U.S. Coast Guard at Cape Disappointment and Air Station Astoria.
I’m praying this administration finds an offramp that doesn’t squander this inheritance and empowers the peacemakers.
The president’s threat to destroy an entire civilization undermines the sacrifices of our military and freedom-loving Iranians.
America’s reputation as a world power was built over generations of sacrifice.
I get no joy from seeing another secretary sent to the glue factory—Bondi’s dismissal doesn’t change the fact that the Epstein files remain redacted & pedophiles run free
We need leaders who will follow the law, release the files,& prosecute offenders—not a reshuffling of deck chairs on the Titanic
This strike in Iran was an extraordinary risk, and our service members will bear the cost of what follows.
Our government was not designed to run like a casino. Maybe this gamble pays off in the short term—Ali Khamenei was an SOB—but America’s strength as a superpower has always rested on deterrence and careful, deliberate action when deterrence fails.
