I look forward to visiting the new station when it’s up and running!
I recently visited Goshen Fire Company, who received $850,000 in community project funding to build a new fire and EMS station. Our firefighters, both volunteer and career, can continue safely serving the more than 35,000 residents of East Goshen, West Goshen, Westtown and Willistown townships.
We cannot be a country that sends our servicemembers into battle and restricts access to healthcare when they return home.
Cutting resources at VA medical centers forces veterans to seek community care from local hospitals. Many of those local hospitals are now at risk of closure due to the Republican budget bill passed last year.
In my last newsletter, I shared that we secured $12 million in community project funding for 14 different projects right here in Chester and Berks Counties, allowing federal dollars to have a targeted, tangible impact in our community.

I am keeping Corporal O'Connor's young family close to my heart today and ask that you do the same.
I am so sad to learn of the fatal shooting of a PA State Police trooper last night. Our law enforcement officers bravely enter the field knowing their lives are on the line, but no one expects the next call to be their last.

Agriculture is at the heart of our economy, and I will fight against this administration’s attacks on PA farms.
ICE should – at a minimum – be held to the same standards as other law enforcement in this country. I will not support a DHS that continues to operate with impunity.
I applaud Gov. Shapiro for lowering the flag of the Commonwealth in his honor.
Rev. Jackson was a tireless advocate for equality and a champion for those whose voices were often lost. Through his advocacy, he helped our nation reckon with its legacy of discrimination and challenged us to live up to our ideals.
I look forward to hearing from Sen. Mullin about ICE reforms.
Kristi Noem's DHS was a disaster. I cosponsored articles of impeachment against her because her failure to investigate, let alone prevent, abuses by ICE agents was entirely disqualifying. I hope firing her is more than a superficial gesture.
no accountability. I will not send even more money their way until ICE reforms are made.
The majority of Americans agree: ICE has gone too far.
62% of Americans oppose ICE's aggressive tactics. ICE agents aren't trained to honor the Constitution, just the White House's command. DHS and Sec. Noem are letting ICE run recklessly and lawlessly through our country, with no transparency and
The American people deserve answers. If we are sending our troops to die in a foreign war of President Trump's choosing, we are owed an explanation.
In his endless quest to appease the President, Speaker Johnson has again failed the American people. In refusing to do the work of Congress, his dereliction of duty will cost more American servicemembers their lives.
War is not a reality show. This is not a game.
