Because the President and Republicans are allowing health care tax credits for working Americans to expire, millions of people are about to be told that their health insurance premiums will increase by hundreds of dollars a month. We are fighting to protect your pocketbook.
When you get notice that your health insurance is going up. Get that letter. Scrub your name. And post it online. People should understand that the rate increases are because of what the president decided to do on health care. We shouldn't take that lying down.
Russia's kidnapping of innocent Ukrainian children is an atrocity. These kids are taken from home—often with false promises of safety—and many are forced into military training camps. We must work to find them and demand Russia send them home.
This year, your health insurance costs will spike higher than they have in 15 years because Congressional Republicans are refusing to extend the health care tax credits.  Democrats are united in fighting to extend these credits and lower your health care costs.
Today I joined St. Paul firefighters, IAFF local leaders, and Mayor Carter to highlight my bipartisan bill to ensure the families of firefighters who pass away or become totally disabled from service-related cancers get the support they deserve.
24 years ago, our nation faced unimaginable loss. Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives cut short on 9/11 and honor the courage of first responders who risked their lives to save others. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
The mass kidnapping of Ukrainian children is immoral and unacceptable. Russia is sending abducted children to military training camps and preventing them from contacting their loved ones. We need to reunite these kids with their families immediately.
Americans in the Health Insurance Marketplace will see their premiums increase by an average of 75% next year because Republicans refuse to extend health care tax credits.   Trump promised to lower costs—but he’s sending them skyrocketing.
Due to the massive cost shifts in the Big Beautiful Betrayal, governors are being forced to choose between cutting health care, food assistance, education, public safety, or other critical services. This is a burden states simply cannot afford.  www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Internal emails published by the Washington Post show Meta employees were aware children younger than 13 were interacting with strangers on their virtual reality platforms, and yet did nothing to stop this.    We need rules of the road to keep kids safe online.
Today Senator Blackburn and I are holding a hearing with the whistleblowers who exposed how Meta has neglected children’s safety. Tech giants are facilitating sexual exploitation, bullying, and illicit drug sales. It’s dangerous—and it must be stopped.
With another 12,000 U.S. manufacturing jobs lost in August, we have lost jobs in this critical sector every month since Trump’s “Liberation Day.”    The President promised a manufacturing “renaissance.” Instead, his tariff taxes are hurting American workers and our factories.
The Senate just passed our resolution, supported by the entire Minnesota Delegation, to honor the victims and survivors of the mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. We are united in condemning the violence and supporting the Annunciation community.
Over the weekend, Putin launched the largest air strike on Ukraine since the beginning of his brutal war. Treasury Secretary Bessent claimed, “We are prepared to increase pressure on Russia.”  The Administration must follow through now.
We need rules of the road so tech giants can’t treat child safety as an afterthought. I am grateful to the whistleblowers for sounding the alarm and look forward to their testimony at a hearing Senator Blackburn and I are leading tomorrow. wapo.st/4phKQpS
Dressed in vibrant colors to honor his extraordinary life, we gathered today to mourn the tragic loss of Fletcher Merkel. His dad Jesse said Fletcher was “all gas pedal, and no brake,” living life to the fullest. We stand with his family and the entire Annunciation community.
Congressional Republicans made a choice in their Big Beautiful Betrayal: Each millionaire's tax break is paid for by taking health insurance away from four Americans.  It’s not just wrong, it’s cruel. The tax code shouldn’t prioritize the wealthy over working Americans.
