I'm fighting for Medicare For All. The GOP is fighting to take away your healthcare.
-$918 billion in Medicaid cuts
-$497 billion in Medicare cuts
-$347 billion in combined TANF and SNAP cuts
Americans are sick of watching our democracy be bought and sold by the highest bidders. Democrats should join me and say no to super PAC money in primaries, say no to corporate and lobbyist money for the DNC, and follow in Maine's footsteps and restrict contributions to super PACs.

Jimmy Carter was an antidote to politics as spectacle. At a time when people are casually throwing around acquiring Greenland and annexing the Panama Canal, it is worth remembering Carter who stood for America's commitment to self-determination.

With Rep. Jonathan Jackson to honor President Carter who shared the admiration Rev. Jackson had for President Carter. President Carter was committed to putting African Americans in his cabinet, on the bench, and in roles from they had been excluded.
Is it any great mystery why Amazon workers are striking?
Health insurance deductibles today go back to zero. The typical American family will be forced to spend thousands of dollars – plus monthly premiums – before their "coverage" even kicks in. We need #MedicareForAll.
Today 58 percent of Americans hold some license, certificate, or credential beyond high school, including 48 percent who have 2 or 4 year degrees. When it comes to a post secondary credential, the goal should be 90 percent or higher, like our high school graduation rate.
“Ro Khanna, who was elected to Congress in 2016 with a rare endorsement from Carter…knows that the time has come to upend oligarchy and renew democracy…‘ban PAC and lobbyist money, overturn Citizens United, and return power to the people.’”

The Democratic party is still reeling from its loss to Trump in the election and they must find new members to lead the party. I sit down with @rokhanna.bsky.social to discuss the individuals who can and will take charge of the Democratic party.

The federal minimum wage hasn’t budged from $7.25 in 15 years. Thankfully, 88 state/local jurisdictions are raising wage floors in 2025. But we need federal action. No full-time worker should be struggling to afford food and housing, period.
There is a movement to draft Congressman Jackson as DNC Chair among several of my colleagues. If he makes the race, I am all in. He understands where we fell short and what a true 50-state strategy looks like.
Dems need to be change agents and this requires generational change.
I make the case for what makes American culture extraordinary, why attracting the world's talent like chef Jose Andres, Elon Musk & Jensen Huang is important, and why we need an economic patriotism that builds steel, semicondictor & aluminum factories in America.

It is outrageous that the Department of Defense is spending $32 billion a year on consultants and the federal government $70 billion. Studies show consultants add 20 percent cost more than civilian employees b/c they bump procurement.

After being handed a decisive loss in the election, the Democratic party is looking for how to combat the incoming administration. I sat down with @rokhanna.bsky.social to discuss the aftermath of losing to Trump and where the Democrats go from here.

Kay Granger's long absence reveals the problem with a Congress that rewards seniority & relationships more than merit & ideas. We have a sclerotic gerontocracy.
We need term limits. We need to get big money out of politics so a new generation of Americans can run and serve.
Wendell Potter’s op-ed is a must-read insider look at a rigged healthcare system that prioritizes profit over patients. It's why I won't stop fighting for Medicare For All.

It's past time for Starbucks to come to the negotiating table. I'm proud to stand in solidarity with @SBWorkersUnited. When workers stand together and speak with one voice, management will listen.
