It was great to meet with BioNJ, a group of life science companies that are investing in New Jersey and pushing our state to be a leader in medical research and innovation!   I look forward to working with the members of BioNJ to continue building an Einstein Corridor for NJ.
Gas prices continue to rise every single day. We're now paying an average of $4.18 per gallon for gas. It's unsustainable. You had no say in Trump’s war but you’re paying its price.
I met with L'Oreal to hear about their investment in NJ, including a $160 M investment in a research and innovation center in Clark. I look forward to hearing more about how companies like L’Oreal can lead the way and partner with NJ universities and businesses.
Even in the most divided of times, violence has no place. It’s time we realize that we’re a part of something bigger than any one of us, and come together as Americans to denounce such horrific actions. 2/2
I’m shocked by images and first hand accounts of a shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner. The level of threats and violence fueled by a broken politics is disturbing and unacceptable. 1/2
This week, I met with NJ leaders from @NNA_US to discuss their work in helping New Jerseyans become homeowners, repairing homes, and managing rentals. It was great to hear how I can help them take on the housing crisis and support their critical work for New Jersey.
Unfortunately, the Logan Township town hall scheduled for Saturday, April 25th has been cancelled. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to connecting with the community in Gloucester County at a later date. 1/2
Trump wants a Fed Chair that will do his bidding. He'll drop the bogus investigation into Powell but not Lisa Cook because it clears the path for Senate Republicans to confirm Kevin Warsh, Trump’s pick for Fed Chair. You deserve a Fed that works for you, not Donald Trump.
BREAKING: U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro says she has directed her office to CLOSE the investigation into Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve's renovations.
I had a wonderful time meeting with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities. I learned about the work they do to expand access to higher education and strengthen workforce development. I look forward to working with them to create opportunity for NJ students!
Today, I spoke to UsAgainstAlzheimer’s about the importance of investing in medical research that creates real breakthroughs. I know first-hand how important this is as I watched my father who dedicated his life to curing Alzheimer's become afflicted with the disease himself.
When it comes to taking care of NJ seniors, I promise to stand with these organizations working on increasing affordable senior housing, combatting workforce shortages, protecting Medicare, and supporting care across the board whether it be nursing homes, home care, or community-based care. 2/2
It was great to meet with LeadingAge member organizations and service providers from NJ to hear about the issues that are impacting aging service providers. 1/2
Trump is spending billions of YOUR dollars on his war in Iran.    I asked you what you’d rather see your hard-earned money spent on.    Your answers were clear: care for your families and communities.
This is a choice: Fund Trump's lawless ICE and Border Patrol or redirect that money to what the people want – lower costs across the board. To me, the choice is clear. I'll keep fighting through the night.
