I tried to force an investigation into this apparent quid pro quo back in September—and Republicans shot it down. When Democrats take back the House in November, my first action as Chair of the Subcommittee w/ jurisdiction over export controls will be to launch an investigation into this corruption.
Trump is selling out U.S. national security for his personal financial gain. The UAE invested $500 million in Trump’s crypto company before he gave them access to hundreds of thousands of advanced AI chips. A company long flagged by U.S. intelligence is getting 100k of those chips.
An Abu Dhabi royal backed a secret $500 million investment in Trump’s crypto company. Months later, U.A.E. won access to tightly guarded American AI chips.
I am heartbroken by the passing of a true icon, Shirley Raines. Ms. Shirley made it her life’s mission to serve unhoused Angelenos with love. Her legacy of compassion will forever live on through all of us. May she be remembered as the angel that she was.

beauty2thestreetz Statement from Beauty 2 The Streetz
It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that Beauty 2 The Streetz announces the passing of our beloved CEO and founder, Shirley Raines, affectionately known to so many as Ms. Shirley.
Ms. Shirley dedicated her life to serving others and made an immeasurable impact on homeless communities throughout Los Angeles and Nevada. Through her tireless advocacy, deep compassion, and unwavering commitment, she used her powerful media platform to amplify the voices of those in need and to bring dignity, resources, and hope to some of the most underserved populations.
This loss is devastating to the entire Beauty 2 The Streetz team, the communities we serve, and the countless individuals whose lives were forever changed by Ms. Shirley's love, generosity, and selfless service. Her legacy will continue to live on through the work she started and the hearts she touched.

DHS got $191 BILLION in the Big Bullshit Bill. Instead of funding health care, Republicans are spending our tax dollars to trample on our freedoms, murder U.S. citizens, and terrorize immigrant communities. No more money for DHS—and rescind that $191 billion, too.
A week after firing its top agent in Atlanta, Krazy Kash's FBI has now raided a Fulton County elections office to pursue false claims about the 2020 election. It's been 5 years. Trump lost and he knows it. Stop using FBI resources for political stunts & just keep Americans safe.
ICE isn't just disregarding the rule of law at home—they're violating international law too. Embassies are protected under diplomatic immunity, which keeps Americans safe abroad. ICE acting like it's above the law has now caused an international incident. We must rein in ICE.
Dollar dollar bills, y’all! I was proud to secure $1 million in federal funding for Expo Park as we prepare for the World Cup, Olympics, & beyond! This funding is a win for our community, LA, and America, and will ensure Expo Park remains a safe, vibrant space for years to come.
