I tried to force an investigation into this apparent quid pro quo back in September—and Republicans shot it down. When Democrats take back the House in November, my first action as Chair of the Subcommittee w/ jurisdiction over export controls will be to launch an investigation into this corruption.

Trump is selling out U.S. national security for his personal financial gain.
The UAE invested $500 million in Trump’s crypto company before he gave them access to hundreds of thousands of advanced AI chips. A company long flagged by U.S. intelligence is getting 100k of those chips.
TSA now requires travelers to pay a $45 fee to fly domestically without a REAL ID or a passport.

Happy Black History Month, LA!
February and every month, we honor the legacy, resilience, and contributions of Black Americans—and draw strength from Black history in the face of today’s challenges.
I am heartbroken by the passing of a true icon, Shirley Raines.
Ms. Shirley made it her life’s mission to serve unhoused Angelenos with love. Her legacy of compassion will forever live on through all of us.
May she be remembered as the angel that she was.
The federal government has gone into a partial shutdown.

I voted hell no on funding for DHS last week—and I'll be a hell no again when it comes back up for a vote in the House.

42 days after the deadline to release the Epstein Files, Trump has finally released a large batch of the files—yet roughly half of them are still missing.
Still, these files revealed damning allegations against Trump. We need answers. ALL abusers must be held accountable.
Trump is violating our most basic Constitutional rights on the daily—if you're on the sidelines, now's the time to speak up.
Stop attacking Armenian Americans with tired, racist tropes. Their community’s contributions have made LA—and the U.S.—a better place. (2/2)
Let’s be clear: this isn’t “exposing fraud”—it’s a photo-op on a taxpayer-funded trip to LA where you stood outside Armenian-owned businesses (including a bakery) and baselessly accused them of committing health care fraud. (1/2)
Trump is literally putting Putin above his own grandchildren… and the American people, for that matter.
DHS got $191 BILLION in the Big Bullshit Bill. Instead of funding health care, Republicans are spending our tax dollars to trample on our freedoms, murder U.S. citizens, and terrorize immigrant communities.
No more money for DHS—and rescind that $191 billion, too.
When we said, “ICE out of our cities,” we didn’t mean send them on a taxpayer-funded vacation to the Winter Olympics.
What the hell do you need ICE there for, aside from causing another international incident??
A week after firing its top agent in Atlanta, Krazy Kash's FBI has now raided a Fulton County elections office to pursue false claims about the 2020 election.
It's been 5 years. Trump lost and he knows it. Stop using FBI resources for political stunts & just keep Americans safe.
ICE isn't just disregarding the rule of law at home—they're violating international law too. Embassies are protected under diplomatic immunity, which keeps Americans safe abroad.
ICE acting like it's above the law has now caused an international incident. We must rein in ICE.
Dollar dollar bills, y’all! I was proud to secure $1 million in federal funding for Expo Park as we prepare for the World Cup, Olympics, & beyond!
This funding is a win for our community, LA, and America, and will ensure Expo Park remains a safe, vibrant space for years to come.

Rep. @kamlager-dove.house.gov calls for the impeachment of Kristi Noem & says “no more blank checks for rogue agencies” like ICE. We discuss how the government is likely to shutdown in a few days over funding for “trigger-happy agents” with no oversight or accountability.
