The NDAA this year was far from perfect—that’s what bipartisan compromise looks like nowadays—but here’s what I voted for:
Americans’ healthcare premiums will skyrocket in 22 days, but Republicans are just now getting out their whiteboard to brainstorm ideas.
The quickest to give real relief today is to extend the tax credits—it’s that easy.
Trump’s Big "Beautiful" Bill is hurting New Mexico’s revenue, just as we predicted.
Republicans prioritizing the biggest corporations over regular New Mexicans once again.
Of course it’s not enough. Farmers want to farm, not get handouts after Trump wrecks their living.
This is a bad trade, not aid.
And remember, Trump gave Argentina $40 billion and their farmers are selling the soybeans American farmers can’t sell.
⏰ 23 days left before ACA tax credits expire and 22 million Americans see their premiums skyrocket.
