The Speaker just had us vote to rename the Gulf of Mexico as retirement accounts are tanking, prices are up, and our small businesses are wondering if they can survive the trade war. There are so many other bills we could bring to the floor that would solve real problems.
As a former teacher and son of two teachers, I've seen firsthand what our educators pour into our classrooms every day. Today on Teacher Appreciation Day, thank you to every teacher showing up for our kids. You deserve better pay, real support & strong public schools. That's what I'm fighting for.
Tens of millions of Americans are about to lose their healthcare. Congressional Republicans are working to cut nearly $1 trillion in healthcare to pay for tax cuts for the uber-wealthy…but they’re not coming right out to say that.  3 ways they’ll try to spin it👇🏻
They’re indiscriminately firing hundreds of thousands of Americans, including these folks who focus entirely on worker health and safety. This is wrong, anti-worker, and very dangerous. We need everyone working together to save these jobs. www.wvxu.org/local-news/2...
Shane, a constituent and friend, is living with a rare, painful disorder. Thanks to breakthrough gene therapy, there’s hope. But that hope is dwindling. Trump wants deep cuts to healthcare and rare disease research. We’re fighting for Shane, and every family that can't afford these cuts.

Cruelty. Nothing else. Give folks things to help them, and then leave them alone. This isn’t that hard. We’ll fight this.

The center-left is the largest coalition in the Democratic Party—and we want more people to hear from them. Rep Veasey and I joined Sirius XM to talk about The Fly-In, our @newdems.bsky.social podcast that gives folks a behind-the-scenes look at how Congress works. 🎧 Listen you get your podcasts.
“Everyone who serves matters.”   Cassie is a veteran and Air Force base engineer. She volunteered to help remove barriers for military women – until a “diversity” ban shut down the team.   They weren’t pushing politics. They just want to make a difference. Her story 👇🏼
Trump’s first 100 days, Social Security, national security, Duolingo, and more… Ep. 5 of the podcast out now 👇🏻
Presenting Episode 5 of "The Fly-In." Co-hosts @repgreglandsman.bsky.social and Rep. Marc Veasey are joined by New Dems @jahimes.bsky.social and Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet to discuss Trump's first 100 days in office, the administration's attacks on Social Security, and more. youtu.be/fyTwYH66gP0
The fight for LGBTQ+ rights is a fight for human rights. It’s about ensuring freedom and dignity and safety for everyone. Proud cosponsors of the Equality Act. We must support a world where love and dignity are universal, and where all of us can find a place of real belonging.
Today, Equality Caucus Chair @repmarktakano.bsky.social & our co-chairs reintroduced the #EqualityAct in the 119th Congress to enshrine explicit protections for the LGBTQI+ community into federal law & safeguard the rights of LGBTQI+ people. Read our full statement at the link in our bio.
