Economic growth doesn’t just happen — it happens through smart investments in people, infrastructure, and innovation.
So happy to be with everyone at the @worcesterchamber.bsky.social!
Honored to be delivering the Slomoff Lecture at UMass Boston today at 6 PM.
I’ll be speaking about human rights and the fight for peace—at home and abroad.
If you’re nearby, come join us at 100 Morrissey Blvd. at @umassboston.bsky.social. Hope to see you there!
Over 400 people at Wachusett Regional High School in Holden! People are fired up and mad as hell at what Donald Trump is doing to our country.
Thank you for showing up and standing up for what is right and just. You give me hope.

Today, I light a candle in solidarity with the people of Sudan. For too long, the world has looked away.
The Sudanese people deserve peace, justice, and accountability. We must speak out and protect civilians. #KeepEyesOnSudan #DontForgetAboutSudan 🕯️

Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
UPDATE: Read my new, urgent demand for answers. The American people deserve to know what Marco Rubio and Bukele agreed to. If this deal is so great, why are our own leaders afraid to make it public???Release it—now!!!
This is NUTS. In this country, we do not let our leaders sign secret agreements with foreign dictators to deport people without oversight or transparency. That is illegal.
Project Just Because in Hopkinton does essential work serving over 1,500 people in our communities. Thank you Cherylann & your amazing team for the tour!
In the richest country in the world, it is shameful that we have over 40 million hungry people. Your work to #EndHungerNow is an inspiration!

Phil Johnston was one of a kind. A fierce defender of human rights, he believed in the power of public service—and the idea that government can be a force for good. He’ll be missed by so many—especially those he encouraged & mentored with his wit & wisdom. www.bostonglobe.com/2025/04/06/m...
So happy to be at the 10th anniversary of LABO!
Thanks to Elizabeth and her team for their inspiring work—our vibrant Latino community makes America great, and I am proud to stand with such an amazing organization that drives economic development across Central Massachusetts.
Healthcare should be a fundamental human right in this country.

Families can’t afford Trump.
Honored to join @mazonusa.bsky.social at this year’s annual Hunger Seder on Capitol Hill.
This year, it’s more important than ever that we stand up against the oppression of hunger.
