More than 1 million U.S. citizens in 14 countries in the Middle East have been ordered to evacuate, but the Trump administration has no plan to assist them. Since Saturday, more than 10,000 commercial flights have been canceled because airspace is closed.
Honored to attend the Annual Iftar Dinner at the Minnesota National Guard Armory as our Muslim community broke their fast with policymakers, members of our multi-faith community, and military. We broke bread in celebration as a community, deepening our bonds and understanding.

Ranking Members @meeks.house.gov, @adamsmith.house.gov, @jahimes.bsky.social, @delauro.house.gov and @mccollum.house.gov sent a letter to top Trump administration officials set to brief Congress today, demanding they answer critical questions concerning ongoing U.S. military operations against Iran.
Six American service members have now lost their lives in this war – the Trump administration owes Congress and the American people a straight explanation.
And if Secretary Rubio is right, why is the Trump administration letting another country dictate decisions for the United States on our national security?
This morning, Secretary Hegseth said that we are at war because of Iran’s long-term ballistic missile and nuclear weapons development programs. But this afternoon, Secretary Rubio said that the reason was actually because Israel was planning to attack Iran. Which is it?
The Trump administration’s rationale for their unlawful war in the Middle East is changing by the hour. 🧵
Minnesotans will get the chance to view a total lunar eclipse tomorrow morning — our last chance until 2028. The best chance to see the “Blood Moon” is between 5 AM and 6 AM.
Our children deserve to be safe at school, at home, and in our communities. This morning, I visited Justice Alan Page Elementary School in Maplewood to thank the dedicated faculty who've been volunteering in shifts to monitor daily drop-off & pick-up during Operation Metro Surge.
My thoughts are with our service members in the region as U.S. casualties are announced and my heart goes out to the families of those lost. We want all our personnel serving in the region to come home to their families safely and as soon as possible. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/01/w...
I am cosponsor of the bipartisan War Powers Resolution which demands that President Trump remove U.S. forces from hostilities in Iran without Congressional authorization - which he does not have. Speaker Johnson must call the House back into session immediately and vote on this resolution.
In June 2025, President Trump declared that Iran’s nuclear program was “completely and totally obliterated” by U.S. strikes. What happened between then and now? Trump has a duty to explain this to the American people and Congress immediately.
The Trump administration is shameless as it bullies to erode core values of inclusion and respect. As a former Girl Scout and adult leader, I’ve seen the value of Scouting in welcoming all and developing young people with character to be educated and engaged citizens. apnews.com/article/scou...
Once again, President Trump doesn’t let the facts get in the way of his actions. Minnesota leads the nation in health outcomes – with low costs and low federal reimbursements.
Our state has already seen the devastation from the Trump administration’s dangerous invasion and occupation of our communities. Now his gangster government is trying to inflict more pain.
This isn’t fighting fraud, this is a bully trying to punish his perceived enemies. Minnesota seniors, veterans, children, and people with disabilities will pay the price.
In just a year, President Trump has destroyed what ten other presidents before him protected: The Medicare Part A trust fund. Trump promised to run the country like one of his businesses, and that's exactly what he's doing.
