Donald Trump is trying to shake the confidence of American voters, nationalize elections, and take them for his own. We're not going to tolerate it.
Today we celebrate Lunar New Year and the rich traditions that strengthen our communities. Here’s to new beginnings, good fortune, and a year of opportunity!
Today, I joined Reju, Mayor Evans, and community partners to celebrate a $390 million investment that will strengthen our regional economy and position Rochester as a leader in next-generation textile recycling. This is how we grow good-paying jobs and build long-term opportunity.
Rev. Jesse Jackson dedicated his life to the unfinished work of our democracy. He expanded opportunity, advanced civil rights, and fought to protect the sacred right to vote. His moral clarity and courage moved our nation forward. We must honor his legacy by continuing that work.
On Presidents’ Day, we reflect on the leaders who have shaped our nation, and the enduring responsibility to strengthen our democracy for the next generation. Hear about what this day means and the work ahead ⬇️
Susan B. Anthony cast her ballot in Rochester in 1872, and was arrested for it. She believed in a simple but powerful truth: every voice deserves to be heard. On her birthday, we recommit to protecting the right to vote for every eligible American.
There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud or non-citizen voting in America. The SAVE America Act claims to fix a problem that doesn’t exist, while putting the voting rights of millions of eligible Americans at risk.
On Valentine’s Day, we celebrate love, and that includes love for our neighbors, our community, and the values that bring us together. Today, I’m especially grateful for this incredible community. From my family to yours, Happy Valentine’s Day!
We had the honor of delivering Valentine’s cards to the Veterans Outreach Center, a small token of appreciation for the men and women who have served our country. Thank you to everyone who participated in my office’s Valentine’s for Veterans program and helped make this possible.
Frederick Douglass chose Rochester as the home of The North Star, a place where he lead the fight for freedom. Today, we honor his courage by continuing his mission: defending democracy, expanding opportunity, and protecting equal rights for all.
We need to put an end to individual stock trading by members of Congress, the president, and the vice president. My discharge petition would bring a real stock trading ban to the House floor and help restore trust in our government.
Grateful for the opportunity to meet with Monroe Community College in Washington. MCC opens doors for thousands of students across our region. They're expanding access to affordable education and creating pathways to good-paying jobs right here in Rochester.
Proud to welcome Rochester’s UAW representatives to Washington. Their advocacy helps ensure working families have a seat at the table and I'm committed to working with them to continue fighting for fair wages, safe workplaces, and a strong manufacturing future for our community.
On Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, we honor a President who fought to preserve our democracy. Today, we are reminded that the work of expanding freedom and opportunity is never finished. We must continue striving together toward a more perfect Union.
The Endangerment Finding protects Americans from harmful greenhouse gas pollution. The Trump Administration's decision to roll it back ignores science and the more than 150 Members of Congress who urged them to keep this critical safeguard in place.
