$500/month goes a long way toward staying on top of rent and keeping up with the cost of groceries and gas — especially when you're starting out. My Young Adult Tax credit is the starting block young Americans deserve to have a fair shot at success. bit.ly/4vMA1OW
WE'RE HIRING! The Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program is an incredible opportunity to support and learn from our veterans, and we're honored to participate. Interested veterans, active-duty spouses, & Gold Star Families can find info on my website: bit.ly/42NBia5

Juneteenth marks a pivotal moment in our history. It's a celebration of freedom and a recognition of those who fought — and continue to fight — for true equality. We must continue to stand together in that fight, especially as the right to fair representation is under attack.
Thanks to JenCare for hosting us at their second annual Juneteenth celebration. Freedom has never come without a struggle and we must do everything in our power to build a country where justice, dignity, and opportunity are realized for all.
Fourteen years ago, America invested in the potential of Dreamers. Since then, DACA recipients have built careers, raised families, paid taxes, and are integral members of our communities. After 14 years of success, Dreamers deserve permanent protections—not uncertainty.
Part of the reason I got into politics was the experience we went through with our kids in the hospital. We can always do more when it comes to pediatric care, and I'm so inspired by Nolan's bravery to speak up and advocate for change — at 6 years old! bit.ly/4fAOk4g
Always great to have my family out in DC for the Congressional Baseball Game for charity (and very honored to be the Dem MVP!) Sadly no W for the Dems this year, but I think next year might be our year 👀
Too many communities have been forever changed by gun violence — including Louisville. During Gun Violence Awareness Month, we wear orange to honor the friends, loved ones, and neighbors we've lost to gun violence. We can and must do more to prevent these tragedies.
Republicans want another $70 billion for ICE — if we put that funding toward housing, we could get a roof over every veteran's head and probably end homelessness altogether. That's what my amendment would do.
This weekend, I joined our community for a Walk to Prevent Gun Violence. We wear orange to honor those we've lost to gun violence and as a symbol of our commitment to doing the work to end this epidemic once and for all.
Former State Sen. Dennis Parrett was a wonderful person who served our commonwealth for 12 years as a dedicated advocate for Hardin County — especially our students and children. He always did what he felt was right, had a great sense of humor, and never had a bad word for anyone. (1/2)
My office has seen the devastating impacts this policy has had on my constituents since it started. People have lost jobs, healthcare, and been put in unnecessary limbo. Today a judge ruled what we have all known from the start — this pause was illegal and arbitrary.
Breaking News: A federal judge said the Trump administration must restart applications for asylum and other immigration processing.
Today, on what would have been Breonna Taylor's 33rd birthday, my heart is with her family and loved ones. Breonna was caring, ambitious, and funny — she brought people together, she took care of her community, and she touched so many lives. She should be alive to celebrate this birthday.
