📍National Health Center Week in Newark
🏥 Grateful for the dedicated workers at Newark Community Health Center & all Federally Qualified Health Centers for the essential care they deliver every day. As Republicans cut Medicaid funding, I am committed to protecting & strengthening these lifelines.

This is a blatant attempt to evade accountability for inhumane conditions, and it will cost more lives.
ICE changed its policies to hide deaths of detained individuals and keep the number of publicly-reported fatalities as low as possible.
By "releasing" people from their custody right before they die, ICE avoids having to report or investigate these deaths - and they hide the truth from the public.
HUGE congrats to the 12U Bayonne Little League team for their HISTORIC win in the New Jersey Little League state championship!! 👏 ⚾️
We couldn't be prouder of these players, coaches, and families! We're so excited for you!!
In a heavy week, news like this reinforces why we fight: Sebastian is coming home!!
While our team was proud to work with Sebastian and his team to advocate for his release, he should never have been detained in the first place. The work continues.

I’ve been notified of another death in ICE custody.
This is the 55th death under Trump’s second term and the second reported death at Delaney Hall in less than 8 months.
We must end the use of these deadly private prisons and reform our country’s cruel detention policies.
We just got back from Delaney Hall and we can confirm that Edwin Jovanny Lopez Cornejo died on Saturday while in ICE’s custody.
More on what we heard today at Delaney:
Will give updates soon.
Ending scams - an issue that we can all agree on.
Watch how we are moving legislation to address this important issue.
My heart continues to breaks for the families of over 50 people killed on ICE's watch this year.
Unsafe conditions at privately run, for-profit detention facilities show a profound disregard for the well-being of mothers, fathers, sons & daughters. This cruelty must end. The fight continues.
Independent investigations.
Full accountability.
This #NationalInternDay, a huge thank you to our amazing interns!
Your hard work, energy, and commitment to our NJ-08 constituents drive our mission forward every day.
We will ensure Brian's service and sacrifice is never forgotten here in NJ and beyond.
Grateful to Governor Sherrill for designating today as Brian Sicknick Day in New Jersey.
Brian and his fellow Capitol Police officers held the line for our democracy on January 6, 2021 when violent insurrectionists attempted to overthrow our democracy.
If scammers steal your money, they shouldn't get to keep it.
That's why we're reintroducing legislation to fix a legal loophole and help Americans get money back when they’ve been ripped off.
We can end this national nightmare if we are all in this fight - together
Investing in our children across Newark and beyond ❤️
They have built their lives here and deserve to stay here. Let’s make it happen.
TPS protections for Haitians have come to an end, putting many individuals at risk of deportation.
I’ve signed on to force a vote on legislation to create an earned pathway to permanent residence for all eligible TPS recipients and a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers.
No child belongs in immigration detention.
That's why I unequivocally back Rep. Castro’s effort to shut down Dilley. We must end family detention now and safely reunite these families with their communities.
