In March, we celebrate Women’s History Month, a month dedicated to honoring trailblazing women and the many contributions women have made to our society.
I’m honored to serve alongside two of these trailblazers, Senator Baldwin and Representative Gwen Moore.
Today is “HIV is not a Crime Day.” Laws that criminalize people for just living with HIV or AIDS are un-American and must be revisited to ensure we're actually protecting the public's health and those living with HIV & AIDS.
Last night, Donald Trump put American troops in harms way without Congressional authority. He is liable for every drop of blood spilled. Congress must immediately vote on a War Powers Resolution to end this illegal war before Trump destabilizes the entire region.
In 2028, will MAGA release its new slogan, "Sometimes you need to be treaded on?" Find out on Pardon the Incumbent with @jburstofa.bsky.social

Today is the 75th anniversary of the 22nd Amendment, limiting presidents to ONLY two terms. It exists for a reason, especially when hunger for power starts to outweigh respect for our Constitution.
Honored to receive a perfect score from @lcv.org on environmental issues.
In Congress, I will always fight for:
✅ Clean energy investments
✅ Clean air & water
✅ Our public lands
I introduced a bill with @warren.senate.gov and @repbradsherman.bsky.social to bring back Direct File, saving taxpayers time and money! (2/2)
Direct File was a popular program that allowed Americans to file their taxes for free, cutting out the middleman.
But big tax-prep companies like Intuit and H&R Block pushed the Trump administration to kill it. (1/2)

Our pop-up staff office hours began Tuesday and will run through March 4 in every county in the district! More info at pocan.house.gov/office-hours.
As Chair of the HIV/AIDS Caucus, I introduced a resolution to recognize “HIV Is Not a Crime Awareness Day.”
A person living with HIV who takes medicine as prescribed and stays virally undetectable can stay healthy and will not transmit HIV to their partner.
Despite this medical progress, people living with HIV are still being charged and branded as criminals because of their status in more than 30 states.
Too many young Americans are priced out of owning a home, while rent continues to skyrocket across the country. How do we fix this?
I spoke with Jim Parrott of the @urbaninstitute.bsky.social on my podcast, With Liberty and Justice for Some. Listen to find out.

5 years ago, the House passed the #EqualityAct to include protections for LGBTQI+ people in federal law. Unfortunately, it was blocked in the Senate. But the fight continues! I'm committed to seeing this bill become law so that EVERY American can have a fair shot at success, no matter who they love.
My reaction to Trump's State of the Union that will save you two hours.
Trump's State of the Union speech in four words: wildly out of touch.
My reaction to the most corrupt president in history claiming he's going to fight corruption.
Breaking: Convicted felon says "we will take care of crime."
Trump loves Medicare so much that his Big Ugly Law threatens to cut it by half a trillion dollars
