The Restore Trust in Government Act would ban Members of Congress and their families, the President, and Cabinet Members from owning or trading individual stocks.
But Speaker Johnson refuses to bring it to the floor for a vote. Why?
It's worth remembering that under the Obama administration, the U.S. restored diplomatic relations with Cuba and nothing bad happened.

A reminder that it’s ALREADY illegal for non-citizens to vote.
The SAVE America Act would instead make it harder for eligible Americans to register and vote, especially women whose current legal name does not match their birth certificate.

I agree with @citizensforethics.org Executive Director, Donald Sherman. Ending Congressional stock trading is an easy win. We need to pass the Restore Trust in Congress Act!
