Deeply relieved that everyone at the WHCD is physically safe & the agent hospitalized has been released. Violence in any form is unacceptable & I condemn it fully. Shootings in our classrooms, our faith houses, our grocery stores, our neighborhoods, or political events should never be normalized.
My Books Save Lives Act makes it clear: Book bans deny us our civil rights & freedoms. We will fight to protect diverse books & Black, queer, and marginalized authors—because everyone has the right to learn and see themselves reflected in our literature.
A MassLive article titled: School book bans have skyrocketed. One Mass. lawmaker has a plan to stop them.
An absolute joy to spend the morning at Horizons for Homeless Children with @ocasio-cortez.house.gov and @mayorwu.boston.gov. Early education is everything and I am so encouraged by our educators and families leading the way.

Despite having lawful work permits, my constituents at Allston Car Wash were profiled, kidnapped, & unlawfully held by ICE for 30 days. I support their effort in demanding accountability for the trauma they endured. And I won't stop pushing to abolish ICE & end their campaign of terror.
At least 17 people have already died in ICE custody this year—outpacing every other past Administration. ICE has a shameful & egregious record of violating people's rights, traumatizing children, & killing our neighbors.
Republicans are doing everything they can to cover up the Epstein files and deny survivors accountability. Bondi is refusing to testify and now Chairman Comer is canceling hearings to prevent us from issuing more subpoenas. This is a brazen coverup & survivors deserve better.
This is how Democrats say Oversight Republicans are trying to squash the Epstein investigation
As Labor Secretary, Chavez-DeRemer ignored the spike in unemployment for Black workers and did nothing to help working families. Her departure was overdue & she will not be missed.
Breaking news: Lori Chavez-DeRemer, President Trump’s labor secretary, is leaving her post amid professional misconduct allegations. The former congresswoman is the third member of Trump’s Cabinet — all women — to step down during his second term.
Sharing love & joy with all of our runners for today’s Boston Marathon! And my heart goes out to those navigating healing & remembrance from the trauma of the attack 13 years ago. Today and every day, I'm grateful for our city's unity and the power of our community.
Boston Marathon runners cross the finish line as the crowd cheers them on.
My grandfather always told me “Plan your work and work your plan.” And that's exactly how we got the House to pass an extension of TPS for Haiti. Grateful for our broad, bipartisan coalition we've built. On to the Senate.
