During a time of escalating violence & hatred, we must stand up for our LGBTQI+ friends. I’m cosponsoring @repdarrensoto.bsky.social and @frost.house.gov's Pulse Remembrance Day Resolution—to make sure we never forget what happened, and do everything we can to prevent it from happening again.
10 years ago today, 49 people were killed and 53 more gravely injured in a shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. This act of domestic terrorism was a hate crime targeting LGBTQI+ Latino Americans.

Yesterday, I joined my colleagues in standing in solidarity with Chicago Public Schools students, teachers, and parents.
