LGBTQ+ rights are human rights. I’m proud to receive 100% from the @hrc.org on their official Congressional Scorecard this year!
As the LGBTQ+ community continues to be attacked by this administration, I remain dedicated to defending equality for all.

As a senior member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Housing, I’m fighting to improve our public housing and make sure everyone can afford a roof over their head.
Yesterday, I visited the National Public Housing Museum in Chicago. The museum finally opened last year, after years of advocacy. Their work preserves the history of the many Americans who fought to create public housing in the United States.

A founding member of CEC's Trans Equality Task Force, Vice Chair @quigley.house.gov helped lead the opposition to a set of anti-trans rules proposed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services earlier this year.
Our community is lucky to have a fighter like Rep. Quigley!
October is LGBTQ+ History Month!🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🎉
In 1970, Chicago’s very first Pride was held in our very own Washington Square Park. I’m working with the LGBT Hall of Fame to secure a plaque that shares this special piece of history.
We must remember what it took to get here, and how far we can go together.
It was great to see so many of my Wicker Park constituents at BooPalooza this weekend!👻🎃
During these turbulent times, it’s incredibly important to make time for our community and remember what matters.
Together, we’re working to ensure Ukrainians with Temporary Protected Status can attend their immigration hearings and interviews safely.
If you have questions about TPS, my office can help. Visit quigley.house.gov/help to get started.
The future of Ukrainian refugees in Chicago is in limbo. Over 100,000 are worried they could be sent back into a war zone.
That’s why I’m leading a letter with @repvalhoyle.bsky.social and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick.
I’m cosponsoring the National Archives Protection Act because our history needs to be protected.
This bill by @kevinmullin.house.gov and @chuygarcia.house.gov will prohibit the closure of records centers by the Trump admin and other politicians—including Chicago’s National Archives facility.
His death is also a failure of leadership. That’s why I’m pushing articles to impeach Pete Hegseth and remove him as Secretary of Defense.
Our servicemembers need safety—not showboating.
I’m calling for a full and independent investigation into Sgt. Patterson’s death. His family deserves accountability, and the American people deserve answers.
This weekend, a U.S. servicemember died on a college football field during a pregame demonstration. Tech. Sgt. Ian Patterson was a decorated 15-year Air Force servicemember who trained the next generation of airmen. I want to extend my deepest condolences to his fellow airmen and loved ones.
An official White House account used a slur for people with Down syndrome to attack a reporter who questioned the President.
Americans shouldn’t be surprised—because this is who they’re working for.
I am again calling on my colleagues and political leaders on both sides of the aisle to condemn political violence in the strongest of terms and turn down the temperature of political discourse.
This is clearly another effort to scare and intimidate elected officials, public servants, and voters in the lead-up to the coming midterm elections.
This afternoon my Chicago office received a second suspicious package in the mail. We notified the Chicago Police Department and U.S. Capitol Police and are assisting in the investigation.
This bill will reverse the administration’s recent rule eliminating habitat protections.
We need to stick up for American wildlife and the endangered species around us.
The Trump administration is trying to gut the 1973 Endangered Species Act—but I have a bill that can stop them.
As Co-Chair of the Animal Protection Caucus, I’m leading the Safeguarding Endangered Species Act with Rep. Fitzpatrick.
