This blatant prejudice is an affront to the religious tolerance and liberty our nation was founded on, and is an insult to the millions of Muslim Americans who have made such enormous contributions to our country.
Such hate is unacceptable and dangerous. It must be rejected.

This week members in both House and Senate denigrated the entire Muslim faith in words I will not repeat.
The administration needs to stop using vulnerable kids and members of the trans community as political pawns, and start fixing a broken healthcare system.

Stripping funding from hospitals and clinics, or worse, trying to imprison doctors, for providing treatment in the best interests of their patients, is a dangerous government intrusion into the provision of care.
Health care decisions should be made by families and their doctors — not by the federal government trying to tell people what’s best for them.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act is clear: while protecting survivors, ALL of these records are required to be released today. Not just some.
The Trump administration can't move the goalposts. They're cemented in law.

Trump's 18-minute-long rant from the White House was riddled with lies.
I'm breaking down the 18 worst lies — on everything from his Big Ugly Bill to his bogus inflation claims.

Nice try, Mr. President. Yell as you might, try and deny — but no one believes you.
Your big ugly bill eliminated tax credits for health care and drove up prices.
If you weren’t so focused on building ballrooms and cared about average families, you could have done something about it.
We've seen the videos of other strikes, even the first one from that day. Why not this one?
Republicans just blocked my attempt to force the release of the video of the 'second strike' that killed shipwrecked survivors on September 2nd.
This is their latest move to provide cover for this administration as it drags us closer to war with Venezuela.
Nearly 40 critical water infrastructure projects in red and blue states are urgently awaiting approval of their loan applications.
The EPA must deliver this vital financial assistance now. This admin claims to be all about efficiency, but the constant delays risk killing these important projects.
I’m about to force the Senate to consider my bill to require the release of the “second strike” video to the public.
The American people deserve to see it. x.com/i/broadcasts...
BREAKING: The Energy Dept's watchdog just agreed to open an investigation into Russ Vought and Secretary Wright’s cancelling of energy grants at my, @padilla.senate.gov and @lofgren.house.gov urging.
Trump's targeting of blue states is unlawful and deserves rigorous oversight.
Donald Trump keeps calling affordability a ‘hoax’.
He may not care about the rising costs of food, housing, energy, and health care, but the American people do.
It’s no hoax when you can’t pay your bills.
Donald Trump's top advisor just undermined him by telling the truth on everything from the Epstein Files to the military buildup near Venezuela.
I'm breaking down the biggest revelations from Vanity Fair.

This administration has been all too eager to post other boat strike videos.
They need to release this one. The American people have a right to see what is being done in their name.
This week, I will force consideration of legislation that would require the September 2 video of the attack on shipwrecked survivors to be released to the public.

We can and must do something to prevent these tragedies. The violence must end.
Last week, I spoke at an annual vigil in honor of victims and survivors of gun violence. Mere days later, families both near and far were shattered again by the acts of violence that have sadly become too routine despite their horror and senselessness.
