Trump wants to give $1.8 billion to the same people who destroyed our Capitol, attempted to overthrow a free and fair election on Jan 6, and attacked police officers.
Not on our watch! We are fighting back against this outrageous insult to our nation’s law enforcement and to democracy itself.
In New Mexico, water is life. Water is not just for fighting over—it’s for collaborating, sharing, and ensuring our communities are taken care of.
New Mexico is leading the way in countless ways, and we’re so proud of the leaders in the state showing the way! 💧
Just weeks before Howard Lutnick’s testimony in the Oversight Committee on the Epstein investigation, he made a $5 million campaign donation—his first since becoming Secretary. And who did he make it to?
A super PAC for House Republicans.
Let’s let that sink in.
Choice words coming from the same man dragging us into illegal wars, covering up the biggest sex scandal in American history, and trying to spend taxpayers' dollars on a $1 billion ballroom.
Let’s be real here—the projection is coming from inside the house. The White House, that is.
New Mexicans are struggling right now while this Administration is robbing taxpayers & bleeding Americans dry.
Our families are exhausted & hopeless—& deserve leadership that actually cares about them and the future. Which is why I am working every single day to make sure they’re taken care of!
Healthcare is a human right!
This week I introduced my bipartisan SURS Extension Act to support small, underserved, and rural healthcare clinics across America. This bill helps clinics access support to deliver care in the communities that need it most.
Why are all the women resigning and getting fired, and not the men?
One thing is certain—abuse by Epstein and Maxwell did happen at Zorro Ranch. And—we will not stop until there is justice for survivors.
We will never stop fighting to protect New Mexico's lands, waters, and communities!
From Chilili to Manzano, Tajique to Carnuel, Anton Chico to Tomé—our land grants are rooted in our culture, community, and care for the land. Thank you to Land Grant Council Chair Juan Sanchez for joining us in DC!
Shavuot begins at sundown tonight 🌾✨ Wishing everyone celebrating a meaningful holiday filled with joy, learning, and time with loved ones. Chag Sameach!
Another chaotic week at your nation’s capitol!
-Reconciliation on ice
-War Powers pulled
-Trump’s Jan 6 slush fund
-GOP imploding
-And we’re headed back to NM
Here’s what went down ⬇
13 American lives lost in Iran. Billions of our taxpayer dollars sent overseas. Gas prices skyrocketing. No exit plan or strategy.
Once again we say: END THIS WAR NOW!
New Mexico is facing a potentially catastrophic water year—with low snow pack and drought conditions that may dry the Rio Grande THIS WEEK!
And, it’s only May.
We’re pressing federal water managers to ensure they deliver real solutions for NM!
Today the Senate is expected to pass a slush fund for ICE. This is why it matters:
Women detained in inhumane conditions. People denied medical care. Families separated. Children taken from their parents. Human suffering treated as policy.
Congress cannot look away. We are fighting back!
During a time where the LGBTQ+ community is under attack, his legacy reminds us that one of the most powerful ways we can fight back is to continue to show up boldly, proudly, and unapologetically.
My thoughts and prayers are with his friends, family, and loved ones. ❤️ (2/2)
Congressman Barney Frank helped transform American politics through decades of public service, fearless advocacy, and a commitment to equality and justice.
As one of the first openly gay members of Congress, he paved the way for generations of Americans to serve openly and with pride. (1/2)
Mr. Speaker—Bullying trans kids:
-Won’t end this war
-Won’t address the economy
-Won’t make us more free
It will only hurt our kids.
Which is why we are a HELL NO on this bill!
So…Republicans are attacking trans kids to “protect women” while blocking our nation’s first-ever Smithsonian dedicated to Women’s history?
Make it make sense. @balint.house.gov
There is no place for hate in this world.
I'm heartbroken to hear about the horrific shooting that took place in San Diego two days ago at the Islamic Center of San Diego.
My heart is with the victims, their loved ones, & the entire Muslim community who are grieving this senseless act of violence.
This is the fight of OUR generation!
