This summer, K-12 students across Ohio's 13th District took on the challenge to read at least 20 hours between June 1 and August 21. I was proud to celebrate these young readers and their dedication to building strong reading habits all summer long.

Families in Ohio's 13th District are feeling the squeeze at the grocery store, the gas pump and everywhere in between. Working families deserve policies that lower costs, not raise them.
Excited to share that Cuyahoga Falls is getting a $1,092,000 investment to overhaul water treatment plant. The current facility has simply outlived its useful life, and this funding will replace the water softener and pump buildings, the lab, and the high-service pumps that keep clean water flowing.

Too many Ohioans are forced to choose between paying for medication and paying their bills. Last week’s #SitesWithSykes stop was to Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, where I saw firsthand how free and reduced-cost prescriptions are helping uninsured and underinsured area residents get the care they need.
