I joined @wyden.senate.gov in signing an Amicus Brief to challenge Trump’s decision to impose sweeping tariffs, which are reckless & unconstitutional. His tariffs have driven up prices, hurt Americans, & eroded the Constitution’s separation of powers. (1/2)
Come November 1, millions of families won’t be able to get their SNAP benefits because Republicans in Congress chose to shut down the government. Why should hardworking people pay the price of the Republican shutdown?
Recipients of SNAP food assistance benefits across the country face a looming deadline: Come Nov. 1, their cards may not get refilled because of the government shutdown in Washington.
We're almost a full month into a government shutdown, and I want to hear from you. If you or someone you know has been impacted by the government shutdown, please fill out my form to share your story with me.
Countless families across the country cannot afford to pay nearly double each MONTH in premium costs. That means many of our neighbors will be forced to make the impossible decision of foregoing insurance altogether. Republicans need to get back to work to fix their health care crisis.
📣 TODAY 📣 My office is holding mobile casework hours at the Tigard Senior Center from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm to help you navigate federal agencies. No RSVP required! We have Spanish speakers and veterans on staff who are ready to help.
Navigating federal agencies can be hard, especially during the Republicans’ government shutdown. That’s why my office is hosting mobile casework hours for you and your neighbors in Tigard next Monday. No RSVP needed! (1/2)
States are already notifying families that SNAP benefits will not be available for November. Republicans will be leaving families who rely on SNAP in the dark with no solution on how they will put dinner on the table. (2/2)
Republicans should be at the negotiating table working to reopen the government. If they keep the government shut down until November 1, SNAP benefits will run out. More than 42 Million Americans will be impacted including veterans and seniors. (1/2)
Folks across #OR06 are sharing how much their health care premiums could increase if Republicans do not act. I’m fighting to lower costs, from the grocery store to your health care coverage. That's why I need to hear from you. If your premiums are expected to rise, fill out the form.
❌Republicans shut down the government, & now your health care costs could SKYROCKET ❌Johnson REFUSES to swear in Rep.-elect Grijalva to ALLOW a vote on the Epstein files ❌Trump is TEARING down the East Wing for his ballroom & he is "Making Argentina Great Again" Just another "regular" week 👍
We are entering the fourth week of the Republican government shutdown. I am here in D.C., ready to work… but my Republican colleagues need to come back from their extended vacation to reopen the government and safeguard your health care.
President Trump is playing buddy-buddy with the Argentine President to bail him out. He is putting American consumers last. He is putting American ranchers last. He is putting you last. #MakeArgentinaGreatAgain
