The U.S. State Department has released new guidance for American citizens stuck in the Middle East:
U.S. citizens should depart the region if they are able. Embassies are suspending routine services, and at this time, the U.S. government is not organizing evacuation flights.
Congress must debate and decide when we go to war, not the President alone.
Heartbreaking news this morning. Three American servicemembers killed, five critically wounded, and many more injured.
There are real consequences for our men and women in uniform and their families when we go to war. That’s why I will vote YES this week on the War Powers resolution.
I will continue pressing for transparency and oppose any unilateral rush to war that puts politics ahead of our troops and the wellbeing of the American people. My full statement on Donald Trump's decision to launch U.S. military strikes on Iran:
Great to see the Fitchburg Theater Block included as a central part of the downtown’s revitalization efforts. Complete with new housing and small business opportunities, this is a great opportunity for economic momentum in Fitchburg! @samsquailia.bsky.social
Since Donald Trump and Republicans refused to extend ACA subsidies, 22 MILLION Americans have been impacted – with many seeing the cost of their premiums double, triple or more.
Where’s the GOP health care plan?
Donald Trump's reckless tariffs cost the average American family over $1,000 dollars last year.
Instead of sending hardworking Americans a refund, Trump is going to pay out the corporations who hiked their prices.
Donald Trump had one goal with his State of the Union address — to convince the American people he’s focused on lowering costs and keeping communities safe.
He failed.
I’m not attending Donald Trump’s State of the Union tonight. Here’s why⬇️
Donald Trump’s tariffs drove prices higher for working families trying to afford their groceries and utilities.
After the Supreme Court struck down his tariffs, Trump is doubling down on his failed policies.
Americans cannot continue paying the price.
MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative is designed to help communities drive economic growth, support small businesses and strengthen opportunities. Great to see Lowell and Fitchburg included in this important program!
Donald Trump’s “ballroom is really the president’s main priority.”
Meanwhile millions of families in America can’t afford to renovate their homes, buy a car or book a vacation.
Huge congratulations to #MA3’s Jack Eichel & UMass Lowell's Connor Hellebuyck for bringing home the gold for Team USA in Men's Ice Hockey!
So proud of the winners from across Massachusetts:
🥇 Alex Carpenter, Matt Boldy, Noah Hanifin
🥈 Korey Dropkin
🥉 Jessie Diggins
While the federal government cuts funding for crucial services, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation is stepping up.
These investments will help families put food on the table, keep a roof over their heads and get their kids to school.
Not only did Republicans’ One Big, Ugly Bill FAIL to lower health care costs for American families – costs are actually rising.
Meanwhile, ICE got a $170 BILLION slush fund and billionaires got another tax cut.
Congratulations to Concord Museum for being named one of the best small-town museums by USA Today. What a well-deserved achievement!
Attention all artists: It’s time for this year’s Congressional Art Competition! If you’re a high school artist in #MA3, you have until April 2nd to submit your original artwork. Winner has their piece displayed in the U.S. Capitol!

NEW: The Supreme Court just struck down Donald Trump's reckless tariffs that are causing prices to skyrocket for working families.
While Republicans in Congress have refused to rein in Trump's tariff policies that are wreaking havoc on our economy, we just defeated him in court.
The Trump administration is trying to rewrite our nation’s history. They even tried erasing the stories of our community by forcing Lowell National Historical Park to stop showing films about the Lowell mill girls who helped spark America’s labor movement.
A federal judge just stopped them.
I look forward to working with her and @massgovernor.bsky.social to continue making Massachusetts a better place to call home.
