First cutting $1 trillion from our health care system with his Big, Ugly Law & now refusing to extend ACA credits. Trump’s not even trying to hide that he doesn’t care about the American people. He’s making all Americans sicker & poorer no matter where they get their care.
Trump's inflation has taken an extra $580 from Rhode Islanders’ pockets this year. Republicans are tipping the scales in favor of billionaires and big corporations and trying to hide it from the American people.
Marlene is a lifelong educator from Barrington. She survived cancer & gets health insurance w/ HealthSource RI — relying on ACA tax credits to afford care. And without action, they’ll be gone. RI’ers like her are why we must lower costs & protect our health care system.
Congrats to Hope & Main on their new food incubator hub in the West End of Providence. 25% of made-in-Rhode Island packaged foods are already developed at Hope & Main. Can’t wait to try even more delicious food from their kitchens!
Undersea innovation is at home in Bristol, Rhode Island! Visited Vatn Systems’ HQ today to see their autonomous underwater vehicles that are growing our Blue Economy.
Spoke about America’s digital future with tech and telecom leaders at the 55th Annual NECTA Convention in Newport. While Trump and Congressional Republicans undermine projects to close the digital divide, I’m working to protect broadband funding & expand digital literacy.
Trump once claimed the Epstein files were a hoax. Now, he’s investigating the ‘hoax’ to distract & delay the truth. Democrats & Republicans can agree on ending the protection of pedophiles. I’ll be voting YES to #ReleaseTheFiles.
Massie: "The president has been saying this is a hoax. Well, he's just now decided to investigate a hoax, if it's a hoax. And I have another concern about these investigations he's announced. If they have ongoing investigations, those documents can't be released. So this might be a big smokescreen."
About 7,000 RI small business enrollees get health care through our Affordable Care Act marketplace, HealthSourceRI. But Trump & Republicans’ health care crisis is jacking up their costs. We must stop the cuts, lower costs & save health care for small biz & everyone else.
Joined Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos and volunteers for Operation Holiday Cheer to assemble care packages for deployed RI troops. From RI staples like coffee syrup & Del’s to comforts like playing cards & socks, I hope these boxes will bring joy to our service members this holiday season!
Good luck to Rhode Island FC as they battle for their second consecutive USL Championship Eastern Conference title today in Pittsburgh. We’re all cheering you on as you represent Rhode Island with some #wickedgoodsocccer!⚽
In RI and across the country, Trump & Republicans’ refusal to act on health care is catastrophic. See my constituent’s story. Extend the ACA tax credits. Lower costs. Stop the cruelty.
Athletes at the Special Olympics Rhode Island Unified Champion Schools Volleyball Tournament truly spiked expectations and set a new bar for perseverance and teamwork!  So proud to cheer on these young Rhode Islanders!🏐
Trump claims costs are down, but since he took office, Rhode Island families are spending an additional $579 a month on their normal purchases.   I’m fighting to reduce costs so that you can afford your everyday lives.
So let me get this right, Trump’s plan was: 1. Tariff everything to help the economy (it didn’t) 2. Claim consumers aren’t paying tariffs (we are) 3. Panic & roll back food tariffs b/c you created an affordability crisis (we told you) Arsonist claiming to be a firefighter.
Since 1975, SWAP Inc. has been revitalizing neighborhoods and providing affordable housing across Rhode Island. Proud to celebrate their work building safe, vibrant neighborhoods for Rhode Islanders of all income levels.
⛑️🦺Put on my hard hat and visited the Ocean State Labs to speak with construction workers getting the space ready for new life sciences labs to move in! Once completed, this facility will spur even more innovation in RI’s public health and biotech sector.
